  2. Ability to assign a contact to multiple devices for work from home and have all contacts able to connect to the PC they are assigned to instead of just the main contact.

  3. Currently we use ITARIAN, which allows us to rename and install the agent using our company name, this appears in the start menu and add or remove programs as our company name, this help avoid customer uninstalling by mistake if they don't know what the software is.

  9. Provide a Remote Connection report to show dates, times and duration of a remote connection. This is highly valuable to demonstrate remote actions to clients and justify MSP services and value. Also to potentially include remote worker reporting for add-on billing of the service.

  13. It would significantly help customers if the system was able to print Asset Tag Labels, including a QR code that if scanned it opens a new ticket for that asset, under the associated user.

  15. It is really annoying that there is no granularity in permissions.
    I should be possible to be admin without licence just to manage the tenant wich is not possible now. Management roles and user end roles aren't separated levels.
    Permissions should permit to create user profiles allowed to do everything except management such as changing licensing or viewing invoices wich concerns management not technicians. Payments method is saved so no control on bills
    IMO Actual user management is lacking this VERY important nuance. Very urgent implementing this otherwise not suited for large/well structured companies

  16. When a technician resolves a ticket and there is not added a time entry, it would be nice if Atera then prompts the technician with a popup asking "You're about to resolve a ticket, but there no time entry added?" and then two buttons saying "Yes, continue" or "Add time entry"

  17. Could be great that the Atera agent scans the devices looking for known vulnerabilities, just as we do with some products, to then report all the items found and having a knowledge base with all the recommended fixes.

    For example, Atera would scan the registry for settings that are not in compliance with a template provided like "Windows Clients - enhanced security", and then will report for each found setting and will have a link for the knowledge base with more information on what should be configured. Templates could be provided by the Atera community, the Atera product engineers, and…

  19. a disgruntled employee could go through Atera and delete critical passwords. the wrong password could be updated. An old system could come back to us with an out of data admin password that has been updated in atera and the old one forgotten.

    the ability to run a password history report on a client to see old or deleted passwords that were stored in atera, so it would make the actions of a disgruntled employee useless instead of critically damaging.

  20. Executive customer report. Intended to be sent to the customer once a month.
    This report should include the following;

    How many tickets were opened, closed,
    How many alerts were opened and closed,
    How many updates/patches were installed
    Status of AV,
    Status of backup,
    How much time technicians were in remote session
    overall health of their systems.

    This would give us a leading approach and make it easier for us to quantify costs if they are seeing how much work is being done in the background.
