  2. Receive a ticket when an agent is uninstalled - as the agent does not have a password to uninstall, it would be good to know if the agent is accidentally removed by someone, deliberate or accidentally.

    If the password feature is under development, an option to receive an alert upon commencement of removal would be tremendous!

  3. I try to run an update automation but many of the PCs are not on at the time because of the type of office I support. (Day/Night and changing schedules)
    It would be great to tell an Agent to run updates the next time it re-connects to Atera and report back.

  4. I would like to be able to hide the system tray icons for Atera, anydesk or splashtop. We had a user uninstall it and it caused problems trying to connect to and manage their system

  5. We should be able to create a tunnel through an atera agent that allows us to administrative access an internal HTTP / HTTPs website for devices like

    • Firewalls
    • Printers
    • Access Points
    • Cameras

    basically anything that you do not want to open up to the world but would like to admin without first logging into a server using splashtop or something else

  6. White Label the Atera agent name. Allow branding the agent with your own company name or IT deptartment name.

    Branding so it also allows customizing or generically displaying the install program name and folder name, as well as in the Apps and Add Remove Program Files. Instead of “Atera” under Program Files or Program Files (x86), or the Apps and Add Remove Program files. This should also apply to running services.

  7. Allow the agent to gather and report any information (S/N, model number, manufacturer) on attached peripherals (mice, keyboard, etc) to allow IT departments to take inventory of these devices.

  8. When I was new to Atera, at the beginning. I was very happy to see Windows Linux and MAC support. Unfortunatly you let the Mac more and more behind. Still features which you wanted to consider AND still Bugs ne one fixes are there.

    This is very bad and sad. Because I pay to get a better and better Product. Dont forget your members. Fix old Problems and hold a standard. Than bring new features!

  9. Have atera compare serial number on device in order to make it easier to hunt down the same agent appearing twice or more because of reinstall of client.

    It would be nice with joint report that shows clearly what machines and to what customer they are connected. And also a auto cleanup cross all customers and for a single customer.

  10. Install the agent on a PC by browsing to a simple webpage on the target PC (i.e. atera.com/add) which displays a unique QR code, scanning the QR code from mobile app, and assigning the PC to a customer/folder from the app on my phone. PC is then offered the appropriate download to install the agent.

    Provide an alternative, by providing a short alpha-numeric code with the QR code on the screen that we can type into the App or web interface instead of scanning the QR code. This could also help with connecting a remote asset with the help of…

  13. Automatically send an email when a computer is added to account by agent installation. Ideally, the default behavior would be configurable by the admin for all customers, but each customer could override the default behavior and even choose which email(s) to send the email to.

    This will trigger in-house procedures to finish onboarding new customers once they are in Atera.

  14. Password protect Atera Agent from being uninstalled. I have had several users uninstall the agent from their systems. Most do not recognize the software and remove it. Others are just nosy. And others see the new software added and remove it because they don't like control, "Big Brother" .

    I would like the option to place a check mark to turn on Password protection.

  16. when calling https://app.atera.com/api/v3/agents?itemsInPage=50 it would be nice to have custom values attached to the agent returned in the agent json.

    currently i have to loop agents to collect custome values causing more api calls and over heads for a simple dashboard.

  20. It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.

    The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.
