Office license type
We have one big customer with several hundred Office365 licenses allocated in different domains. It would be helpful if atera can sum up how many Office365 licences are provided to the customer / per domain.
The MS Admin center has a great and easy overview what Atera should use as well, maybe more detailed. It could be provided in the MS License Report.Total amount:
Microsoft 365 Business Basic 299/300
Microsoft 365 Business Standard 112/113
Office 365 E1 4/5Amount per domain:
Even better would be an integration at the customer site where we already can provide the domain where…238 votes -
Synology Active Backup Monitoring
Synology Active Backup for Business and Actibe Backup for Office 365, HyperBackup shoud be monitored - PTRG has an Sensor for it
https://github.com/WAdama/nas_ab_status/commits/master
The closest thing I've come by when it comes to monitoring Active Backup actively is by using this script (https://github.com/WAdama/nas_ab_status/commits/master) and Paessler PRTG. However it doesn't cover all backup options in Active Backup, so when you have hundreds of file backup-jobs, server backup-jobs and hypervisors backup-jobs as well as 365 and/or Google backup-jobs you're out of luck. I suppose you could setup some kind of SMTP parser to handle the backup mails from Active Backup,…

Update Chocolatey Script to a newer version
Actually Atera is using an old script (Chocolatey 1.1.0) there is for example an issue with the Chocolatey Package for Sonos S2 Controller. So it would be nice, to get an updatet Version.

Sentinel One Add On
I have some previous experience with Sentinel One through another RMM Platform, and I really liked it. It's a very solid EDR tool, and I'd love to see it offered as an Add On.

Splashtop SOS
For new customers / users I currently still use Teamviewer Quicksupport to remotely install the Atera agent and then swap to Splashtop.
As my Teamviewer subscription will soon expire, it would've been nice Splashtop SOS was actually included in the Atera subscription the same way that Teamviewer Quicksupport is with Teamviewer Premium/Corporate/Enterprise instead of having to pay for a separate Splashtop subscription again.
Or I could use Microsoft Quick Assist, but still I'd rather prefer to also use Splashtop SOS for quick support sessions.I'm pretty sure Atera can fulfill this dream ;-)

AnyDesk Client Update
The AnyDesk used by Atera is currently on version 7.0.14. AnyDesk is stating that this version is over a year old. This has implications on IT-Security an privacy as we are using outdated software on over 1000 devices. Please update AnyDesk to the current version which is 8.0.6 up to now. Please accelerate the release cycle in the future. Thank you.

I want to integrate existing 3rd party apps. Acronis, Threatlocker, SentinelOne, Ironscales, etc. WITHOUT purchasing through Atera.
I want to bring over existing portals without the poor rates Atera has for the same products.

True Third (3rd) Party Patching and Vulnerability Assessment
Atera needs to have true granular 3rd party vulnerability and application patching as well as bios and hardware. Ability to see what third party application needs updating right in the update and patch list, and reporting on what repository (or chocolatey or homebrew) the app is being updated from. This need is currently critical and requires outside vendors to meet the third party patching need. Ideally option for customer sourced repositories that are then approved by Atera just like the scripts library. Ideally there would also be the option to provide a local SMB path for the client to pull…

bitdefender integrity monitoring
Bit-defender has Integrity Monitoring which is a great security feature, upon inquiring with bit-defender and confirmation from Atera support this feature isn't available for instances integrated with Atera. We can see the Integrity Monitoring but unable to apply any of the rules.
Need this to be turned on to meet PCI requirements and enhance overall end-points security.54 votes -
Integrate with a PCI / Compliance scanning tool which will scan devices for sensitive info.
Tool will scan servers and PCs for sensitive files containing SS#, DL#, Card Info, etc.
A report will be generated for each device along with a .txt file containing a list of file paths, which could be then feed into a script or encryption system. What about a tool which would encrypt sensitive documents and provide key management to end user as well as a back door for IT or designated key custodian.
