  1. I need to be able to manually mark Devices at "Inactive". Want to keep them for inventory, but don't want them to show up in sites or take scripts/patches. Also, this is different from retired devices, because I want it to be a manual process and just because a device hasn't been used in "X" amount of days doesn't mean it's inactive.

  3. Webhooks triggers on Alerts

    We are exploring the possibilities of using Webhooks to integrate Atera with Freshservice for the Alert system.

    Currently, your Webhooks system only allows actions to be triggered against tickets, meaning within ticket automations. We have already confirmed with your support team that a ticket created by an alert does not automatically close when the alert is resolved, which leaves the Freshservice alert disconnected if it is resolved from Atera, making the integration less functional.

  4. At this time we are using Atera for several things it was not initially designed for. We are using it as an asset management solution as well as the main development and design for what Atera is made for. We are able to add assets and assign them to a user however when we search the user nothing in your current set up lets us see all the assets we have associated to that user.

  6. Having more options to quick search would be helpful minimizing the time to look into each device detail.

  9. Better process to Share/Move Atera Reports - Can we PLEASE come up with a simple and logical way to Share and Move reports in Atera? I have to reach out to Atera tech support to help with this and even support has to look it up and figure it out. It is ridiculous that there is no easy way to just Share and Move reports between personal folders/groups and shared folders/groups. And it's even more frustrating that Atera doesn't seem to really care about it. Support technicians have to look it up to actually find the way to do it…

    Says it silent installs but you need to update the guide to include the crucial info that when adding the app you need to add the /qn to the argument section of the add app page or else it user prompts for install.

  14. currently, linux agents do not provide any software inventory data. while basic hardware information and health stats are available, there is no visibility into installed packages or applications. this is essential for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting. please add software inventory support for linux devices—similar to what is available for windows and mac.

  16. I see that AI Insight offers way to create new knowledge base articles, but what about updating articles? This would be especially useful when a process has changed or if new steps are required as technology changes. It would be great for Copilot to suggest an additional step based on a technicians actions, or even maybe simplify them if the technician took more steps then they needed.

  17. We have one big customer with several hundred Office365 licenses allocated in different domains. It would be helpful if atera can sum up how many Office365 licences are provided to the customer / per domain.
    The MS Admin center has a great and easy overview what Atera should use as well, maybe more detailed. It could be provided in the MS License Report.

  18. Have the customer portal show the assets for that customer. So when a customer logs in on the portal they could see and manage their assets including adding, updating, and deleting assets.

  19. Atera's a great platform, but, there's always a but, the features added are slowing it down - or something else is - and the delays in refresh are becoming troublesome where techs are waiting for every screen. It may not seem like much but it's noticeable. We have a bi-coastal tech setup and both locations have the same slowness so it's not regional or location specific but indicates a system wide problem. Perhaps before more features are added we can get the snappy speed back?
