  2. Software Asset Tracking

    We're looking for a way to store and manage software assets. For example, if we have 20 licenses of Adobe Acrobat, we would like to create the asset in Atera, know how many licenses we have, it's renewal date, and who the asset has been assigned to. This would be great for Microsoft 365, Atlassian, and other software licenses we need to track/manage.

    It would also be great if we can upload contracts/documents with the asset.

  3. Have the ability to link or print QR asset tags

    I am a one man shop that hast to deal with computer being unpluged and moved from time to time. It would be nice to be able to have a list of all the computers in a dept listed in the asset manager and be able to link that infomation to at QR code so I can print lables on all the compuers and monitors.

  4. Sites / Assets Screen Improvements

    The Sites / Assets screen is lacking in functionality.

    The ability to customize columns needs to be added and all asset fields should be added as available filters.
    Also, the search should be improved to search all fields.
    The primary fields I need visibility on are 'Model' and 'Serial Number'.

    I am pushing to switch my asset tracking to Atera and this functionality is the only issue stopping me from being able to do so.

  5. Mass update of Device Details.

    Feature Request: Bulk Export and Update Device Details

    I would like the capability to export all device data into a report, modify details such as Host Name, and re-upload the revised file to update the system in bulk.

    Currently, we are deploying across over 2,000 hosts using a script, but the Host Names in the system do not match the actual device names. As a result, each host would require a manual update. With this feature, I would like to export a report containing fields like Host Name and IP Address, make necessary changes in Excel, and re-upload to apply…

  6. Asset History should be recorded with the asset

    It would be nice to keep a history of asset changes. For example, we have all our laptops/desktops as assets. These items get assigned to a user but can be reassigned to someone else. It would be great to see everyone it has been assigned to. Also, if we change the name of a computer, that should be recorded in the asset history.

  7. Select a device in an asset instead of adding the asset as a custom field

    I would love to see that you can select in an asset a device from the according customer and track there the life cycle (instead of creating custom fields in an agent).

  8. Display Improvements

    On the Devices page (or any other Assets' page) The user should be able to select all devices without having to scroll all the way down to display all devices.

    Import function should be able to recognize an object already exists and give the user the choice of skipping or updating those assets custom fields.

    Import should be able to recognize rows with already existing assets, and to be able to skip or update those assets according to the .csv.
