  1. An approval process within the Atera tenants should be put into place for a newly added device after an Atera agent has been installed onto a machine for addtional security. This to avoid "rouge devices being added to tenant.

  2. There needs to be a date field for all devices that can record the end of warranty on a machine. In our department, we use that functionality to determine when a PC needs to be replaced.

  3. I believe there should be a button within the navbar of the Devices tab that once selecting specific machines, allows you to update all patches on those machines, rather than doing a report, manually clicking all unnecessary machines or doing it patch by patch on the Patch Management page.

  4. Have Task Manager be more of a representation of what you would see on the Desktop computer. It would be nice to have the different tabs, easier searching for the task we need to end, and graphs of hardware usage.

  5. In the case of re-purposing a device and changing the name of the device, it would be great if Atera could automatically update the device name in Atera instead of to manually have to update the name.

  6. We need to be able to change Windows Settings and Control Panel features from Atera. We have many end-users who must have specific settings on their devices. Atera should have this on RMM services. I do not have enough time to write a script for each item every time an end-user requests it.

  8. Seems like it should just be a basic function so it's weird that it's not already there.

    But, it would be really helpful if there was a counter at the top of the Devices list for customers showing the total number of devices. It's kind of silly to have to run a report just to see how many devices a customer has.

  10. When scheduling a device to restart, the notification to user is way too short and in some cases it goes away immediately.

    I would like to:
    A) set a timer so user can save their work etc
    B) Have an option of custom canned messages or allow for a custom message to be added.

    That way if we need an user to stop using a machine while we work on it they can save their work and be notified.

  12. In the add new device - SNMP screen, search the Managing Device field by customer name. We have a LOT of customer and they have a LOT of devices. As it stand now, the only way to navigate through that screen is to scroll down with the side bar or the mouse wheel. Using the keyboard takes you to the first device with that letter, but that can be problematic since the first client has a device named "Server" but I needed to find a client down in the S's...

  13. I love the new fields available under assets. While I understand the difference between Assets and Devices (though they could be combined), I do wish that some of the fields available under Assets were also available for Devices. In particular, Status, Purchase date, Warranty expiration, End user and Location would be very helpful, especially if they were fields included in an a auditor report. Doubly so if End user and Location fields were included in a search. I will often have laptops get passed around from end user to end user. I currently use custom fields to track the assigned…

  16. The Alerts panel on the device dashboard currently is pretty useless. It would be nice to see some context beyond "2 potential CVE(s) detected" or "1 unmonitored device(s) have been detected. Atera's issue is that you have to jump to so many different dashboards just to get basic information. It would also be nice to see a remediation path on the device itself for the detected CVEs

  18. Right now when you go to one of your servers or clients you will see a graph with the average CPU and Memory usage.
    It would be great to have additional graphs for disk and network related statistics.
    The things I'm thinking of immediately is a graph to show me the history of diskspace. It would be great to see that 14 days ago i had 100GB in use and today i have 120GB in use. Other things could be maybe IO and reads/writes
    And for network it would be great if I could see that 2 days ago interface…

  19. Give a tech the ability to manually retire a device instead of waiting on a pre-configured time to pass. Right now the only way to flag a device as retired is to ignore it until the allotted amount of time has passed for the system to change the status.

  20. If a reboot is scheduled, it is not possible to see if a reboot is scheduled or when the reboot will happen. It would be helpful if the devices-view could show the date and time of the scheduled reboot. Maybe the "reboot required"-column could change to date/time if a reboot is scheduled. Or an additional column with date /time of the scheduled reboot could be added to the view?
