Text Message (SMS) Alerts
I rely on real-time alerts to proactively address issues before they escalate. While email and in-app notifications are helpful, they can easily be missed during off-hours or when away from a desk. Implementing a native text message (SMS) alert system within the RMM tool would significantly improve response times for critical incidents such as server outages, offline endpoints, or security threats. This feature would ensure immediate visibility and faster remediation, ultimately enhancing service reliability and client satisfaction.

Snooze indefinitely on Alerts
Snooze indefinitely on Alerts, the maximum is currently monthly, but indefinitely would help as an option where service are no longer in use on servers, etc., but are being flagged by the associated threshold configuration

Feature Request: Repeating Alerts for Critical Devices and Scripts
Hi Atera Team,
I'd like to request the ability to configure repeating alerts for designated critical devices and scripts.
Current Problem
Currently, Atera sends a single notification when a device or script enters a failed state.
In many environments, that single email can easily get lost among other monitoring alerts or simply among the hundreds of other emails people receive throughout the day. As a result, the customer may never see the notification until much later, allowing a critical issue to go unresolved for hours or even days.
Proposed Feature
Allow any supported object to be marked for repeating notifications.

I'd like to request a feature that would significantly improve monitoring for environments with devices that experience brief or intermittent connectivity issues.
Use Case :
Many of my customers have surveillance systems that consist of:
A Camera Server (Windows PC)
Multiple Generic Devices representing IP cameras on the customer's networkSome cameras may briefly disconnect dozens or even hundreds of times per day due to aging network cabling, camera hardware issues, or temporary network instability.

Webhooks
Webhooks triggers on Alerts
We are exploring the possibilities of using Webhooks to integrate Atera with Freshservice for the Alert system.
Currently, your Webhooks system only allows actions to be triggered against tickets, meaning within ticket automations. We have already confirmed with your support team that a ticket created by an alert does not automatically close when the alert is resolved, which leaves the Freshservice alert disconnected if it is resolved from Atera, making the integration less functional.

Automatically close Alert tickets when resolved
Would be really helpful to have alert tickets automatically close when the alert is resolved

Patch Management Alerts if more than xx updates
An alert is created when a customer or device has more than xx number of patches. This would indicate that the device is failing to run patches/offline and requires investigation.
The idea would greatly assist us as the current schedule report takes so long to go through with so many devices to check

Event Log Triggers show Rule Title
When an alert is triggered I could care less to see the event. I want to see the title of the rule. That is the only thing that means anything to me. I can always look at the event log in the detail. THis is a major pain point as I either need to keep a list handy or click on each one to see what the issue actually is. Very annoying.

Threshold profiles can run Scripts that trigger alerts.
But this scripts are started the whole day.
Thats not nessecary in many cases.
A script that analyses backup logs or count AVHDX files in Relation to VHDX files could run once a dayThat's what automation profiles can do.

it would be nice to be able to adjust the S.M.A.R.T errors thresold
At the moment a disk with 56 dead sectors, 375 data transfer errors isnt considered as critical by default.

Filter out logged windows event alerts using REG-EX
Filter out event alerts based on matching event contents using regex or string pattern search.
I.E. User A is an automated user.
It logs on every 10 mins to computer A.
I want to exclude User A Logins from the sign in or sign out event 4624 or 4625
but I want to log every other user logon
Another example.
Filter out computer logon to domain by filtering out "\S+(.\$)"

Create a specific alert
The ability to create an alert for any time frame that will notify the team whether that be via email or a ticket to the helpdesk.
The example im working on currently is licencing however it could have a number of Utilisations

Atera App Alerts for Antivirus
Send Bitdefender, Webroot, Etc, Antivirus alerts to the Atera app. If a device is infect, we need to know about it.

Device notifications delay setting
So I have some systems out there that have a connection with an antenna and some with internet that isn't so good such as satellite internet and they have some intermittent internet hiccups. I would like to be able to set a rule or site specific rules for the sites to only notify if the device has been down say longer than 10 minutes at a time.

taking treshold item name as alert title
alert titles are often irrritating
I create a treshold item for the device uptime and named it "no restart for about 60 days"
But the resulting alert is named "Geräteverfügbarkeit" what means device availability. That looks like the device is offlineI create a trtehold item with eventlog scan for events about source "BackupAssist" and named it "Backup Assist warning/error"
But the resulting alert ist named something like "Eventlog: Application | Ereignis-ID: 11707It would be much more clear, if the alert gets titled by the name of the triggering treshold item.

Ability to export current views (ex. filtered alerts and others)
It would be very useful if we could actually export some filtered views. Example, I filter a customer's critical alerts, which is a nice one, but them I am unable to export such information easily. I normally have to do many screenshots or save a small video and share it with my customer. If we could just filter the alerts and then export that view, it would be much easier for documenting and sharing.

Exporting Alerts to CSV or Excel from the Alerts Section
Since alerts with an 'Information' severity level, as well as those that cannot be forwarded via email, are displayed in the Alerts section, they should be exportable in CSV or Excel format for further analysis and future reference and keeping records.

Alerts for new software installation
I would like to have a feature, wherein if any users install software without informing IT support, alert is generated and send to admin.
This is required since we observed some software's like Adobe can be installed even without administrator rights.
