Sending email to new user
Hi Atera team,

We repeatedly encounter the problem with the current agent that the agent no longer displays an online connection. The dotnet process then appears to be down. Only a reinstall brings the device back online. Furthermore, various Atera processes repeatedly consume memory. There also doesn't seem to be an automatic update function for the Atera agent. It would be very helpful if macOS were also taken into account. At least the agent should run smoothly.

agent detection intermitent and not able to connect
lately its been pretty bad the agent detection, atera simply is not able to detect computers anymore, even tho after updating the agent which was something bad as well, now very very often the computers just disappear from the panel impossible to connect , before everything was a breeze , not its hard., yo need to fix that , thats the core of your service or not?

Says it silent installs but you need to update the guide to include the crucial info that when adding the app you need to add the /qn to the argument section of the add app page or else it user prompts for install.

Agent Branding
White Label the Atera agent name. Allow branding the agent with your own company name or IT deptartment name.
Branding so it also allows customizing or generically displaying the install program name and folder name, as well as in the Apps and Add Remove Program Files. Instead of “Atera” under Program Files or Program Files (x86), or the Apps and Add Remove Program files. This should also apply to running services.

Patching having a bandwidth restriction
Need an option that when a site/folder is selected you can restrict bandwidth used by the agents to pull in updates/patches. We have remote sites that have limited bandwidth, patching has already overloaded the WAN links at the facilities causing an outage. Need to be able to say patch x number of agents in the folder at a time, and restrict the total bandwidth being used by the agents to ensure we do not impact the WAN link of a facility that operates on a 24 hour schedule.

Request for Robust Agent Self-Upgrade Mechanism
I’d like to highlight a critical pain point with Atera agent upgrades and propose a more sustainable solution.
Current Problems
When upgrading agents via:MSI installation or CURL command, the process often: Removes the old agent but fails to install the new version (leaving devices unmanaged).
Triggers Error 2753 (corrupted installer state) or GPO conflicts.
Workarounds (e.g., manual PowerShell cleanup + reinstall) are not scalable and violate IT best practices.
No atomic upgrade process: Removal and installation are not transactional. Dependency on GPO/MSI: Prone to permissions/cleanup issues (e.g., residual registry keys).

Built-In Virtual Display Adapter/Driver - all remote tool capable
I am finding a need for a built in virtual display adapter/driver with the Atera agent that can be utilized by any remote tool for headless machines or machines with their monitors turned off.
This would be especially helpful in many scenarios and avoid on site support or alterations to enable remote capabilities.

Default Monitoring Agent
Let us set a default monitoring agent instead of making me scroll through all 1000 devices to find the one I need. Or here is an idea let me set it to only show servers on that list.

Atera Agent should have a capability to auto-kill itself and auto-respawn itself once it reaches 900 MB or 1 GB RAM usage
We are a global-wide company with many users from many country. We did the right configuration on every firewall following the guidelines.
The thing is that users can use any internet at any wifi hotspots, we cannot control all routers in the world. How can Atera Agent do the self-restart when there is a connectivity problem, instead of eating full memory of the device.That is the Feature Request we would like to submit.

Export easily Antivirus informations
Hello, is it possible to create a report about this or add this information in the API?
Today I want to check if BitDefender is installed on each agent and when I created a report with Atera, I got the list of computers with Bitdefender and saw that 150 agents are missing, but they don't have any other software. So I need to check which computers don't have BitDefender...
A report that exports every computer with the main antivirus would be useful or any other way to do it!
It would be nice to have this information via the API.…

Include "Form Factor" in Agent Details and Reports.
I would like to see the "form factor" of the agent devices in the display and reports. When budgeting, we need to determine laptops vs desktops and currently need to discern what's what with a combination of excel formulas and manual entry. Having this readily available (without custom scripts) would be appreciated.

Ability to log off user from device
RMM tools usually have the ability to log off users from a device that may be experiencing issues - this greatly solves a lot of temporary issues avoiding rebooting and interrupting other services that may be running on that endpoint.
I see the ability to see logged in users but there are no options from there.
I would expect the basic ability to log off said users that are logged in from any type.
The Task Manager Feature should have this feature if not the user activity section.

PC Log Analysis using AI
Currently, I have to remote connect to a PC to export the Application and Security logs to a CSV file. Then, I upload these CSV files into ChatGPT (or another AI system) for them to read and let me know if there is a problem with the PC and how to repair it. Atera has no way to export the log files; it can only view them.
It would be great if Atera could have an "AI Analyze" function. With one press, the AI would automatically read all the log files from a PC and report any issues and how…2 votes -

I am coming from Logmein Central and GotoResolve and they both had an icon in the systray to show they were running (green icon). Could we please get an option to have a systray icon if we wanted it?

transferring data from a device
If the user's device changes, it would be great to be able to transfer passwords, attachments and notes from one device to another without having to re-enter everything manually, which would save a lot of time.
