  1. It will be a good thing to know which contact is attached to an agent, by using API.
    Actually, we could only know, for an agent, wich customer.
    Some things like that aren't exist on API.

  2. The Atera Agent installs Homebrew for you on your Client Mac's however, currently this is inaccessible from either Terminal or Scripts. If you want to install software just now that requires password authentication, this just isn't possible from Atera, unfortunately. If we could utilise Homebrew from Terminal or Scripts, we can get around the authentication issue. This would be very useful.

    Alternatively, if Atera can provide a method of including credentials during Software or Software bundle installations then this would resolve the issue.

  5. I really like the agent metrics graph when opening an agent device. It would super helpful if the graph could also show network usage (per adapter - wifi vs wired) and hard drive space usage over time. If a device is suddenly showing a full drive, it would nice to see the usage history. Especially if it suddenly got full over the past couple days.

  6. Our customers have old computers we have to support. For example an old server running an old software that can't be installed anywhere else. They need it for archive. We must have Atera on this in order to monitor it, inventor it etc. Like Screenconnect, please keep support for older OS.

  8. The patch history of devices shows some updates which are applied but not all. Support told me that getting updates over WUA API only shows updates which are still on the update servers.

    Problem now is that you cannot be sure which updates are applied to the servers because the updates suddenly disappear from the history. So you have no overview which patches are applied.

  9. The agent program would need to be equipped with a watchdog process. It typically breaks down regularly in an undersized environment on a memory weak client machine. If the program has not communicated for 1 day, restart it automatically.

  10. I personally thing Atera should have its own Remote Desktop software in addition to having the integration of other 3rd party solution such as teamviewer, splastop etc. for those who have them and wish to use them.

    However i think having 1 complete solution provides easier management and smother running of system especially when it come to updates (sometimes splash top crash's or cant connect to agent)

    In addition to this, i am limited to the features using 3rd party remote solutions provide thought Atera, which means i have to pay Atera and another Subscription cost for a full version…

  12. At the moment Atera will install the agent but assign this to the customer in an “Unassigned” state. We then have to update this manually in to folders. Atera should be able to decide whether the device is a workstation or a server, that way it can automatically go in to the correct patching/IT automation profiles.

In current scenario we have available helpdesk agent software for windows machine in our atera account . now we want to install helpdesk agent software on mac machine but it's not available at this time for agent through communicate with our mac user. please implement agent software on atera.

  15. This may seem finicky but I've been asked recently. Is there a way to verify that the agent updates haven't been tampered with like they were with other MSP agents ( Kaseya... ). Some of my customers are getting a little antsy about having an agent on their servers and workstations. I think it would be helpful if there was a way to visibly show them that the agent updates were scanned and safe.

    Appreciate any insight on this. :)

  16. Being able to easily identify if the client has made any changes to their device. Some form of delta change notification if system changes are made. For example, if a user swaps out the monitor, changes keyboard, or installs some major application (assuming they have local admin permissions). At this point, the dashboard and device details show current state, but this is basically "as is" review of what the agent sees rather than if there was a change to the system from the previous time the agent checked in.

  17. It would be great to get historic information for disk space (maybe as a report?) to see the trend for the last 6 months, rather than just the current free space.

    Coupled with that, it would be great to get a predicted mean time until full based on historic trend.

  18. Currently we can not connect to any PC in network if that PC does not have internet connection. due to which we have to use another tool to remote.
    just for one purpose we are forced to use two different remote tool which does not make sense.

    It will be great , if Atera add this feature in future release.
