  1. Sorting the result of network discovery by ip adress gives an alphabetic order (1, 10, 11, 12, .. 100, 101, 2, 20 21, 200, 201, ..3) instead of a correct alphanumeric sorting

  2. Seeking improvements to the Network Discovery feature to better accommodate various authentication scenarios.

    Key Requests:

    1. Custom Domain Name Input: Allow users to manually enter or modify the short domain name used for remote authentication during network scans. This would enable better compatibility with systems where the default domain retrieved by the scanning agent does not align with the required authentication domain.

    2. Credential Flexibility for Non-Domain Environments: Introduce functionality that allows the entry of local admin credentials when performing remote installations on non-domain joined computers. This would enhance usability in workgroup environments where standard local accounts are used.

    3. Support for Multiple…

  3. I think it would be great if the Network Discovery also provided an overview of the topology of the customers network. This makes it easier to have an overview of newly integrated customers that already have a somewhat big infrastructure

  4. We would like to have the option for scheduled reports for the network discovery reports with potential CVE data rather than having to manually download the data every time.

  5. I like to get a metric (such as graph, chart or csv) to compare CVEs for all customers from 3 months ago to now. This relevant from IT side and I suspect would be useful info on MSP side as well to validate if current remediation is having an impact as a reporting tool.

  6. At the Security - Potential CVEs , the exported xls file with the CVEs records (Summary and Detailed sheets) appears without the expanded detailed information of the CVE.

  7. I want the ability to exclude particular IP addresses from the scan.

In my particular scenario I have a honeypot set up on the network that fires off an email every time it's touched. This is generating ~100 tickets a day per network every time this Network Discovery agent hits the honeypot.

I will need to discontinue my Network Discovery subscription until this feature is implemented.

    1. CVE show up under the associated Device (Wks,Srvr, etc)
    2. Create alerts / tickets based on CVE / Device. rules for severity.
    3. CVE should affect severity and have an icon at the top of the device view screen.
    4. CVE Dashboard - including resolutions over time and newly discovered. so you can track progress and historical / resolved CVEs

    1. Nice! The feature you requested is being reviewed by our product team. We’ll keep an eye on the number of votes, and let you know if a decision is reached to implement. Thank you for being a partner in our process!

  8. It would be very helpful to have a property "first seen" for every device in the network scan. This would help to find new or rogue devices at a glance.

  9. It's great to have this feature but it's annoyingly hidden so many levels deep. I would bet many people don't even know it's there. I love the feature but it needs to be more front and center even if it's still somewhat limited. It's not really network discovery either, it's a security feature. Lets kick this software up a notch.

  11. Have SNMP OID's and MBP's available for common types of hardware detected via SNMP, like for popular printer models, as well as switches, routers, NAS, and other popular devices where we can have the OID's pre-populated, as opposed to being forced to Google for OID's and typing them in manually.

  13. The Network Discovery function is a very powerfull tool. But in complex and not structured scenarios there are lot of "known" devices where it is not possible to manage SNMP configuration or instlla the Agent (ie. Bank credit card readers, Telphone carrier managed routers, Known guests-users' laptops, Fiscal printers, etc..). In these cases shuold be very usefull to select an Unmonitored device and add it as a pre-defined Custom Asset (or Generic) by automatically filling the existing fields (Device type, MAC, Manufacturer, etc..) to monitor on/off line status.

By adding this functionality it will be possible to have a comprehensive…

  14. Network Discovery Scanning results should mirror the ability of advanced ip scanner by adding comments to devices, also ability to group devices by custom names like Mac, PC, Desktop, Chromebook, Switches, Unknown, Ipads etc. The ultimate for rogue devices on your network would be adding some sign of a digital fingerprint to all your devices on your network via agent install . So that when a rogue device enters your network. Network discovery can auto label it as unknown or rogue device and separate it for easy security management and filtering.

  17. We'll scan any given network and asses the security focus on:

    1. Installed Antivirus

      1. AV 1 (version, last scan)
      2. ...........
      3. AV n (version, last scan)
    2. Anti Spyware

    3. Firewall

    4. Open ports (both workstations/servers and SNMP devices)

What would you like to see in addition?

  18. There are some clients where I cannot change or disable IPV6. This has broke Network Scanning. I need Network Discovery to have an option to "Use IPV4" only.

  19. Have a Network Topology Mapper, SNMP based in Network Discovery.
    Look to Domotz for inspiration.
