  2. The internal ticket notes system isn’t really a messaging system as it doesn’t alert the tech of an update. It would be great if Atera would send an email to the tech within this feature.

  3. We currently do not have the ability to view or set the SNMP polling interval when monitoring them via agents.

    It would be very useful to be able to view and/or set the SNMP polling interval so we can customise the monitoring to suit our needs.

  5. We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.

    This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.

    Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

  6. It would be nice that when a new customer receives their randomly generated password, that there would be a prompt to have them change it to something they want.

    As it currently stands, the only options users have is to receive an email with a randomly generated password (or so I'm told this happens) or they can choose the option of 'Forgot password' and reset the password themselves. Currently, it doesn't seem like if the user were to input the random password that they would be prompted to change it. So its back to either the 'forgot password' option to…

    It would be awesome if we could setup alert notifications when a new device is added to our account.

    We had a couple rogue devices get installed the other day, and didn't realize until we just saw them in the portal.

  8. The patch history of devices shows some updates which are applied but not all. Support told me that getting updates over WUA API only shows updates which are still on the update servers.

    Problem now is that you cannot be sure which updates are applied to the servers because the updates suddenly disappear from the history. So you have no overview which patches are applied.

  10. Device query is a powerful tool, for example, we can query across all client’s desktop operating systems on win 10 1903 with office 2016, it's very good for finding specific configs, but we can export the result, it's far more powerful than the audit tool.

    Congratulations on helping shape Atera! The feature you requested is currently being considered for development. Please be patient as the process can take a while or even stall to make way for other features. We’ll update you once it’s been implemented and released!

  11. The Default Remote Access Option allows one to change from Splashtop to AnyDesk/TeamViewer/ScreenConnect.

    The problem is, an admin can change this without warning. It provides no warning or confirmation or context. It immediately just deploys AnyDesk etc. to all agents causing popups on Macbooks and security alerts and mass panic.

    Please can you consider a warning confirmation dialogue before this setting is changed or updated? Should be a quick small change hopefully.

  16. There have been many instances where I need to reliably reboot a Windows endpoint into Safe Mode with Networking so that I can run scripts and/or remotely connect to it.

    I have a script that will do this now, but it would be excellent if Atera could build this into the agent so it isn't a guessing game. Rebooting into Safe Mode remotely can break my access if something goes wrong, and since 95% of what I do is entirely remote, having a reliable way to do this is really important.

  18. Allow conditions like AND and OR in conditions field in ticket automation. For example, the ability to be able to send email to technician only if the ticket is signed by someone else. If the ticket is assigned by technician himself, the email should not be sent to him.

  19. With Supply chain attacks on the rise bad actors are actively targeting MSP's and RMM software providers. There are recent reports of attackers using Atera with Zloader in the wild on DarkReading.com. The actor vector will be the same for all RMMs at some point in time.
