  1. It would be excellent to be able to add a contact without an e-mail address, we have plenty of clients who have staff who shared e-mail addresses so we can't actually create contacts for each staff member in these instances which is a bit annoying.

  3. Atera is sold as an MSP tool, but is completely unsuitable for this.

    In particular, EVERY setting must be able to be specified per customer, e.g. whether Anydesk, Slashtop or TeamViewer should be installed. This is a given if you want to sell something as an MSP version...

  4. One thing that one of our clients has been asking for is a report similar to the one he receives when he takes his wife’s car to the dealership. This report would be a 150-point check that uses a simple red, yellow, and green light methodology to quickly communicate the status of their IT systems.

    I would love to see this as an extension of an app that runs in the system tray. When clicked, it would open a small window displaying a few major KPIs using the red, yellow, and green indicators for quick reference. For example, one KPI…

  5. It would be nice to be able to include pictures of the Contacts for Customers. When new technicians go onsite, they'll have an idea of what the contact looks like if they've never been to the site before.

  6. I am a new Atera user, so far its an impressive platform and has a lot going for it however if Atera is going to grow in the small to midsized IT agency market it needs to make a dramatic improvement in a few things.

  7. We have many customers with more than 1 office location. We need a place to put these in the customer info page. Ideally, we would also have the option of attaching a specific location for a customer to a ticket for times when a site visit is necessary.

    As it currently stands, we have tickets that require site visits, and no way other than manually making an internal note to tell the engineers which location they need to go to. Even if they go to the customer info page, there is no way of storing more than 1 address, so…

As it currently stands, when you enter a contact it always results in only showing open and pending so that you constantly have to check "select all" and if you leave the page for a moment it will never remember that you were just there to show all the tickets, resulting in a neverending clicking of "select all".

  11. Categorize Customers ( Property : Group )

    It's hard to manage Technicians access privileges ( on Customers )
    when creating many new customers.

    Would be more handy ( dynamic ) with customer groups.

  13. Services /Providers page where we can manage contact, account, contract/client for our services, support, etc.
    We as an IT Dept , manage ISP,backup ISP, VOIP, Harwardare or lease devices, paid platforms or software that we need to manage , pay monthly or yearly, know wich kind of agreement or package we have and if wee need support gather all that info to contact them like account number, provider, support phone or agent phone, address, webpage, whatsaap, agent email or support email etc that we can manage in atera for quick response.

  14. Many other users have mentioned the need to refine search functionality for the Asset specific search bar within each customer. I however, think it would be more beneficial to have the ability to use the search bar up top to search for things like Asset Name or even a custom field like Serial Number (Which also should be a standard field given the context of these assets).

    It serves no purpose to me to have assets listed in each customer if I have hundreds of customers and can't search for them across the board.

  15. It would be helpful to be able to deactivate a customer's account instead of only being able to delete them (subsequently deleting all of their history, tickets etc.).
    At present it is only possibly to deactivate the contacts under that customer which doesn't help with customer management as it leaves a long list of customers which is no longer current.

  16. I'd like an option to input a customer's open hours in their profile, possibly with a mark set on the full customer list as to whether they are open or closed. We schedule a lot of updates, reboots, and the like outside of business hours, so knowing if an office is open or closed at a glance would be especially useful, rather than calling them.
