Built-In Virtual Display Adapter/Driver - all remote tool capable
I am finding a need for a built in virtual display adapter/driver with the Atera agent that can be utilized by any remote tool for headless machines or machines with their monitors turned off.
This would be especially helpful in many scenarios and avoid on site support or alterations to enable remote capabilities.

add software inventory report for linux devices
currently, linux agents do not provide any software inventory data. while basic hardware information and health stats are available, there is no visibility into installed packages or applications. this is essential for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting. please add software inventory support for linux devices—similar to what is available for windows and mac.

Webhooks triggers on Alerts
We are exploring the possibilities of using Webhooks to integrate Atera with Freshservice for the Alert system.
Currently, your Webhooks system only allows actions to be triggered against tickets, meaning within ticket automations. We have already confirmed with your support team that a ticket created by an alert does not automatically close when the alert is resolved, which leaves the Freshservice alert disconnected if it is resolved from Atera, making the integration less functional.

Redirect audio and video so that customers can use Teams and other applications on the VDI when accessing via “Work from Home.”

Automatically enabe "restore points" and create a new restore point every month.
Automatically enabe "restore points" since they ae not enabled by default in Windows 11. Then, create a new restore point every month for all drives. Delete older restore points if drive capacity becomes an issue.

Device Attachment Preview
I am unsure why you can preview in Customers but not in Devices. I am able to preview pictures in Customers but the same attachments in Devices cannot be previewed. They have to be downloaded first. There should be the ability to preview the most common types of files for any attachments across all of Atera or at least Devices. Thank you.

Ability to bulk update fields on asset types
When adding a new Asset Field, you then have to manually go and add the new field to each individual Asset Type one by one. Would be nice to be able to select all necessary Asset Types and do a bulk update to add the new field at one time.

I'd suggest you pick one or the other.It should be text when full size and it should collapse to Icons.

Splashtop access options
Currently, Splashtop allows users to select a single connection mode, such as requiring or not requiring connection approval. However, it would be highly useful to make this setting configurable based on sites and profiles. This would allow for specific connection behaviors tailored to different clients, user PCs, or servers, depending on their security or accessibility requirements.

Automated Full Disk Access for macOS via MDM (PPPC) Policy Deployment
It would be a huge time-saver if Atera could include the ability to deploy PPPC (Privacy Preferences Policy Control) profiles through its MDM tools to automatically grant Full Disk Access for the Atera agent on macOS devices.
Right now, we have to manually configure this on each Mac, which is both time-consuming and prone to being missed during setup. If Atera could handle this as part of the MDM deployment process, it would greatly simplify onboarding, improve monitoring reliability, and ensure better compliance across all endpoints.
