  1. Since Chocolatey doesn't support ARM binaries and sometimes breaks things by updating Edge Webview2 with x64 causing chaos where users are unable to open some apps (Teams) and download PDF's etc, we have disabled Chocolatey in Atera altogether.

    But by disabling Chocolatey we also disable Homebrew for Mac since it's one button for both.

    Can you please separate these options so that we can keep Homebrew enabled?

  2. Ticket lists often start with standard filter Status:open/pending

    Thats not really helpful because of our self added statuses, like "waiting for material (pending)

    So ist would be better, instead of filtering status:open/pending, it would filtering status of type: open/pending

  3. Have the option to tag related existing articles to existing tickets customers have opened.
    Allowing managers or leads to tag possible related articles to tickets to expedite troubleshooting or client resolutions.
    Might even suggest a step further, where you can suggest an existing article as a built in response within your reply. Essentially, "Hey customer- have your tried #tag existing article here, as a resolve?".

  4. Need different approval settings for remote access based on the device type. I want my helpdesk technicians to be required to get user approval to work on their system, but my server admins should not need approval to remote into a server since there is no one at the server to allow the access. This could be based on the role in the platform like Admins can skip the request, while technicians are required to get the approval.

  5. Need an option that when a site/folder is selected you can restrict bandwidth used by the agents to pull in updates/patches. We have remote sites that have limited bandwidth, patching has already overloaded the WAN links at the facilities causing an outage. Need to be able to say patch x number of agents in the folder at a time, and restrict the total bandwidth being used by the agents to ensure we do not impact the WAN link of a facility that operates on a 24 hour schedule.

  6. To download and install the QuickBooks Migration Tool for moving from the Online platform to QB Desktop, go to your QBO account and sign in. Then, click on the Gear icon and select Export Data. Now, go to the Export Overview section and select Download tool. Lastly, launch the installer file and follow the guide on your screen.

  8. I do a lot of remote PowerShell to work on various PCs. I have to open multiple tabs of Atera to work on different PCs at the same time. I would like the ability to open a remote PowerShell, then minimize it and open remote PowerShell on multiple other PCs at the same time within one window. That way, it can continue to run the command minimized while I work on something else, and can check back on it later to see if it finished.

  9. The new agent install wizard window is rather large and when running split windows, even in 1080 resuoution, the "next" and "back" buttons are offscreen. It's just a minor annoyance, but would save a lot of time in the long run if the window was more compact.

  14. With Atera integrating more AI, I'd like to see it help determine legitimate tech logins. I use 4 devices to connect to the Atera console (desktop at work, 2 work laptops at home, work cell). While I occasionally need to access Atera via app outside of work/home, 90% of my access is from those 2 places/IPs, and yet I still frequently run into the "Security Risk" block where I need to wait for an email in order to actually log in.

  17. Custom Field Device Notes Not Persisting

    Issue:
    Custom field device notes are not visible by default. To view them, the field needs to be expanded. However, once the page is refreshed or navigated away from, the field collapses again and does not remain in the expanded state.

    Expected Behavior:
    Device notes should either be visible by default or remain expanded after leaving and returning to the page.

    Actual Behavior:
    The field always collapses, requiring manual expansion each time.

    Impact:
    This makes it inconvenient to quickly review notes and reduces usability.

  18. We email into tickets renewals for services from suppliers then email to the customer on this ticket to advise on renewal pricing.

    If we just change the ticket to the customer they see the history from the original entry.

    We need to be able to change this to a private entry so the customer does not see the whole email chain.

  20. Description: Introduce a check-in/check-out status system for devices, distinguishing between permanently assigned assets and temporary loaners. Admins should be able to mark devices as “Checked Out” with user details and expected return date, and “Checked In” when returned.
