  4. It would be nice to have a means of handling locations within a specified client. Creating a separate client per location will eventually become cumbersome. As it stands, we can create separate folders for the devices at different location, but a more elegant solution would be welcomed.

  6. We've got a customer who is dealt with by a specific technician who also like to spam tickets and it'd be really useful for the other technicians to be able to easily filter out said customer.

  7. When fetching Alerts via the Atera GET alerts API endpoint, allow us to specify a CustomerID - otherwise, we need to fetch ALL alerts and then filter at our end which is inefficient for both Atera and the consuming client :)

  8. Support told me that new updates on servers will be searched at the start of the IT automation profile which leads to
    - higher bandwidth usage
    - more time for applying patches
    - reboot time which may is outside of customer's window

    What we need:
    Scan window: set time window for scanning (e.g. on day of patching in the morning/afternoon)
    Patch window: set time window for the execution of the patches
    Reboot window: window for rebooting (last reboot no later than X:YY)

  11. Quickbooks Time integration within Atera web/mobile platform.

    Quickbooks Time is already a well established time tracking software that directly inputs time into Quickbooks (Online and Desktop), and accounts for other legal time tracking requirements such as state overtime laws, auditing of time editing/entry, location tracking, ect.

    They have an API to allow for integration into other platforms like Atera. Being able to do a start/stop timer with Quickbooks Time and that time being already tied to Quickbooks Payroll, will ensure that employees accurately track their time on tickets.   14. Give the option to lockdown customers with passwords. Even if someone were to get in, they would have to login to gain access to clients.

    Add in passwords and disable auto login for client level connection on devices. With Splashtop i know you can enable or disable auto login, but give the option overhead.

  15. I really like the agent metrics graph when opening an agent device. It would super helpful if the graph could also show network usage (per adapter - wifi vs wired) and hard drive space usage over time. If a device is suddenly showing a full drive, it would nice to see the usage history. Especially if it suddenly got full over the past couple days.

  16. Currently, I was informed that the only way that a Technician can support Atera's "Work from Home" feature is to elevate them to be Admins. This will also give them access to billing information the way we have our roles set. The "Desktop Remote Management" and "Server Remote Management" roles should allow technicians to be able to support the Work From Home feature without granting them access to Full Admin rights, but currently it does not work that way.

  18. It is imperative that there be a separate/different subject line when a computer is unavailable, and also that it indicates how many computers are involved. This is basic for any RMM and is a huge flaw in your service. For those of us who have a lot of customers/machines, there are a lot of emails that come in daily and it is way too easy to miss ones as critical as unavailability. It cannot be that difficult to have those go out with a different subject line, or even allow for text notifications under those circumstances.

  19. Our customers have old computers we have to support. For example an old server running an old software that can't be installed anywhere else. They need it for archive. We must have Atera on this in order to monitor it, inventor it etc. Like Screenconnect, please keep support for older OS.

  20. Atera reporting isnt good, I could do with the ability to report real time so I can write my own meaningful reports for internal staff and external customers. I was advised this is a feature in the pipeline. If you have an early adopters program, I would like to be on it.
