  1. All of the branding is nice with one exception. When our techs are logging in at customer sites, it comes up Atera when they login. We run the risk of them 'going around us' when they know our vendor partners. It would be great to go that last step and brand the login screen for us. I know it only takes a second to login and get to our logo but in certain instances we set up our clients as a tech as a service to them.

  4. creation of tickets for devices/activities not associated to a contact.

    performing routine maintenance on servers (that don't have a contact, our own internal servers) like patch application, log file clearing.

    or allow a contact to have multiple devices, so they are informed of tickets being opened for main.

    I think this would then allow for a report to be run against the device to view all activities performed on the device, for ISO audits etc.

    I may be an edge case as I use Atera to manage multiple Data-centres and not desktops of individuals.

  5. The preset threshold for failed log in attempts is currently 3, we are unable to alter this to a higher number. Even Microsoft is currently 5 before they do a lockout. Can we get the option to alter the preset number to something higher either say a preset options to select from a list or a number entry option for the system? Currently when attempted to alter the border just goes gray and does nothing.

  6. Add a report to find machines not logged in to for > x days - useful for finding under utilised machines, or ones that may have gone missing!

  7. 1 hour is far too out of date for hard disk usage info, the alerts update quickly, so the information on the agent page should do so too! Out of date information is of no use to anyone.

  8. Under each company, my "Favorites" list should not be the same as other Atera users Favorites list. In some cases, certain roles don't have or shouldn't have access to the same machines even, so our Favorites list should not be the same.

  9. A daily planner page where Management staff can assign certain tickets and tasks to technicians in a calendar style arrangement. Obviously staff could have access to their own planner too and could use it for their own scheduling also.

Seeing as how Apple has transitioned their entire computer product line away from Intel CPUs to their own "silicon-on-chip" M-series CPUs between late 2020 and mid 2023 and that many vendors (Microsoft, Google, Splashtop, TeamViewer, Sentinel One) have released "Apple native" binaries for their agents and frameworks, isn't it time for Atera to follow suit and stop relying on Apple's legacy binary support through Rosetta?

  12. SNMP Devices UI is not friendly.

    1)Passwords are behind 3 Menu clicks
    2) Not possible to reorder OIDs
    3) Not Possible to edit an OID to change text or condition value
    4) Include a field to display the unit of a specific value .. Example MB, minutes, etc
    4) would be great to add some simple arithmetic functions. some of OID numbers need to be divided by a value to make more sense of them. Example Storage use
    5) Add the option to graph a value over time

    1. Proper Template based form -
      a pop up or separate ticket form where you organize the boxes like a proper form. Example - New User form. You could organize the boxes any where you want on the form in a logical flow
      The questions and then answers in the ticket running down the side is very inefficient. Also, I would like to see all the results in the ticket, not on the side. or in the original FORM type format inside the ticket or in a pop-up or separate screen.,

  16. I like to get a metric (such as graph, chart or csv) to compare CVEs for all customers from 3 months ago to now. This relevant from IT side and I suspect would be useful info on MSP side as well to validate if current remediation is having an impact as a reporting tool.

  17. Currently, Atera's satisfaction survey system lacks accessibility features, particularly for visually impaired users. When a ticket is resolved, Atera sends out a survey, but blind users are unable to interact with it effectively using screen readers. Key issues include the lack of attributes announcing survey options like "Very Poor," "Poor," "Matched Expectations," "Great," and "Super," which are identified only as "Blank." Additionally, attempting to click on these options does not launch the survey in the web browser. Furthermore, the web version of the survey also presents accessibility challenges.

  18. It was explained to me by a support representative that Atera had decided that "Work From Home" should not be available on servers. I believe that decision should be relegated to us as the decision makers for these systems. Case in point: I have a third party consultant who needs access to a server to do maintenance on an accounting software. I believe it should be within my authority to authorize the use of Splashtop on this machine.

  19. Scenario: we have two tickets: Ticket A, and a duplicate, Ticket B. Before realizing they were duplicates, tech responds to Ticket B and add's cc recipients. After realizing the tickets are duplicates, Ticket B is merged into Ticket A. The cc'd recipients on Ticket B should also merge into Ticket A

    I found in Support Request #451828 that it is the designed behavior to drop CC'd recipients from Ticket B when merged with Ticket A. It would be much more useful if this behavior was the opposite; allowing a more fluid ticket conversation that is not disrupted by the merge…
