wake on lan in Mobile App
Desired functionality in Mobile app(s) to allow Wake-On-Lan.
We have multiple computers on battery backup, which could be used as waking agents.
We're also enabling resume power on AC recovery.
In a recent power outage, I had to go into the office to turn machines on.
I could VNC and Remote Desktop to agent(s) powered on with my phone, but this is undesirable.18 votes -
Multiple actions on search
Cannot perform multiple actions on search results: Scenario: You want to search for all the machines beginning XYZ- and edit the relations to put them in a new folder – but there is no multi select option or actions toolbar/menu
Instead, you have to scroll through the entire list of devices to find each machine that you want to select.
Please add a check box to the results, a select all check box and add the multi select actions menu3 votes -
Send files to group of machines at once
We have been in situations where we need to send installation files to multiple machines and then run installation script to install them. Currently Atera does not support the function to send files to group of machines at once. I am sure this will help many other customers having the same issue as we do especially with the working from home time where client computers are all working from different locations and the only common denominator is Atera running on each device. I will be happy if Atera consider implementation of this functionality in the near future.

agent config and global agent control after install
I would love to globally set my installed agents to only play sound on the remote machine and not transfer to mine thus not interrupting a video or music when I'm just checking on useage for a classroom, and also to remove the splashtop printers since i don't use them. It would be great if this could be configured for new agent installs by default also. Thanks 👍

Only allow login from MAC-addresses.
Its good to have the option to only login in from IP-addresses, but would be a lot more powerful if only allowing login from certain MAC-addresses. This way it has to be your machine you are login into.
Once the admin selects this feature in the admin portal, the change has to be approved with a MFA prompt. So the admin has to have MFA setup before moving on to the MAC-address option. When the approval is granted the MAC-address from the admin computer is automatically added as a approved MAC-address, so not to lock out the admin from the…

Disable File Transfer or at least alert end user
If a user is WFH you need to be able to disable the file transfer option for users or at minimum, if you are accessing someones files/downloading them, the end user should recieve an alert/notification similar to if you connected into their machine, that "AdminXXXX has downloaded a file". I think that would be a basic security/privacy requirement. Fact you can just download files without end person knowing isn't right.

MacOS .pkg software upload support
We get MacOs in our environment here and there and have a 3rd party antivirus that needs remotely installed and if needed other PKG type applications would need to be installed as well silently. We need Atera to support .PKG file types and know how to install on a MAC via the upload script method.
Having to manually script it is very messy and requires a lot of third-party integrations and sometimes permissions need to be adjusted at the machine level locally. There needs to be more support for silent installation of applications for MacOS for us who can't guarantee…

Install Atera Agent through website
I want to be able to visit a website - like agent.atera.com - where I can log in with my credentials and view a list of all clients along with their associated profiles. From there, I want the ability to either download the appropriate MSI installer for each client or automatically install from the site. This would be great if you don't have the installer on hand, or are on site and need a quick way to get the agent on a machine.

Windows update 0-day threats
When there are 0-day threats, it would be great to target machines with the 0-day patches released from Microsoft etc... and made available from the Software Installation option and being able to search for the KB number to deploy.
Alternatively if Atera had its own storage available to its customers to reference for the afore mentioned updates. Customers could download their own patches and search for them to be deployed centrally.15 votes -
Print/export pre-defined reports (Recent Processes)
Print or export reports such as Recent Processes. we update many machines using the scripting process, and would like to have a list of the results, rather than having to use the print page of the browser.

More Granular User Control
Expanding on earlier idea would be good to have the following:
In Role Permissions:
Build on to Desktop Remote Management and Server Remote Management but have a new item:
Server Remote Access - Toggle remote access on or off for Servers. This way we can have a tech monitoring servers and running scripts we have made but make the tech assigned to role unable to remote into servers (Think L1 or L2 tech).
Speaking of scripts, before "Manage Scripts" have a toggle to:
"View Scripts" - on and off so that we can assign L1 or L2 tech the ability…28 votes -
Windows Update from devices dashboard
Need the ability to push out windows updates en masse from the devices dashboard, similar to pushing a script to multiple computers or assigning an automation profile. This would come in handy when something was missed during a scheduled install or a batch of new machines.

Reporting for Patch Management
Patch reporting needs to tell you which machines are missing which patch, at present, it just says that so many machines are missing this patch which is not helpful to us or the end customer :O

Scheduled custom scripts and templates
I switched to Atera from Kaseya VSA. So far I'm loving the simplicity, ease of use, and much more reasonable pricing of Atera in comparison. One of the few things that I do miss about Kaseya VSA, however, was the ability to keep a library of scripts (command prompt, powershell, terminal, etc). They could be organized into folders and subfolders, and had permission based sharing - so you could make specific scripts and folders accessible to everyone, restricted groups (such as employees or managers), or keep it private so only you could access them. Kaseya VSA had a large pre-installed…

Billing User License
It would be super beneficial if I had an account that could not remote into any machines; but could have access to the billing, and reports for clients.
Right now it does not make $ense to pay for a tech license just so my accountant can see the billing information and reconcile the invoices.

Buton in the Customer Portal with the generated link
Hi,
i would like to recommend you the following:
For the Work from Home settings, when you activate an access from home to a customer for a device, this will generate a login link that you have to share with the customer... In my opinion it could be better in the customer portal of that customer when you activate this option for him and one device of him
this has to automatically appear in his customer portal, like to get a generated button named login to PC xxx what ever his machine is called and skip the sharing part and…3 votes -
Script and software install for offline system
Set some scripts / software installation to run for offline systems as soon as they report online,
Curranty you can install software or run scripts if a system is online, can we set these software or scripts to run for some machines even if it is offline, and it can be executed when the system/agent is online?

Warning When Multiple Session Are Happening
When multiple techs are connected to the same machine, would be nice to have a warning so we know that another tech is connected already.

Separate Favorites list
Under each company, my "Favorites" list should not be the same as other Atera users Favorites list. In some cases, certain roles don't have or shouldn't have access to the same machines even, so our Favorites list should not be the same.

chocolatey rate limiting
It's good if Atera has it's own caching server for avoiding Chocolatey public repo limitations and IP ban, or even better if we can also set ours manually.
Accessing the choco logs from the web interface might also come into great help.
I run software updates for 100+ machines on premises and the option of Atera patch management is not usable as is.9 votes
