  1. It would be very helpful to either be able to hide Hardware Driver Updates from showing in the available updates count OR create a separate column only listing Hardware Driver Updates. The two are completely separate and each have their own importance. It's confusing after a patch automation run to see a number showing as if you still have missing patches on a device. Then you click in to the device to see it's all hardware driver stuff. I would like to see software and hardware separated into different columns / categories as it relates to patching.   2. An integration with Snipe-IT asset management software would be awesome.
    Please create an add-on for Atera or do some kind of integration with Snipe-IT at least do an inventory sync module.

    Snipe-IT is open source:

    Even if Atera could see potential in the idea and have the developer capacity you guys can create a fork of it and integrate it.

  6. I’d like to highlight a critical pain point with Atera agent upgrades and propose a more sustainable solution.

    Current Problems
    When upgrading agents via:

    MSI installation or CURL command, the process often: Removes the old agent but fails to install the new version (leaving devices unmanaged).

    Triggers Error 2753 (corrupted installer state) or GPO conflicts.

    Workarounds (e.g., manual PowerShell cleanup + reinstall) are not scalable and violate IT best practices.

    No atomic upgrade process: Removal and installation are not transactional. Dependency on GPO/MSI: Prone to permissions/cleanup issues (e.g., residual registry keys).

    No built-in rollback: Failures leave devices in a broken…

Backing up or exporting files: We spend all of our lives backing up things for our customers, feels uncomfortable not to back up our databased. if Atera is hacked and if we don't have a back up and we will have a problem. It would be a facility to have a backup of Atera. It is not about migrating to a new service. Us knowing we have a secure backup every week and every night.

  8. Auto-assign tickets. When a tech replies to a ticket, they should be assigned the ticket by default. We shouldn't need to manually assign tickets or use round robin ticket set up.

  11. Allow the agent to gather and report any information (S/N, model number, manufacturer) on attached peripherals (mice, keyboard, etc) to allow IT departments to take inventory of these devices.

  13. Bit-defender has Integrity Monitoring which is a great security feature, upon inquiring with bit-defender and confirmation from Atera support this feature isn't available for instances integrated with Atera. We can see the Integrity Monitoring but unable to apply any of the rules.
    Need this to be turned on to meet PCI requirements and enhance overall end-points security.

  19. Can you focus less on adding AI to every single thing, and actually just fix the basic existing issues that have been on here for an extended time? We were told that we would be able to assign multiple computers to a user when we signed up months ago, but that still hasnt been implemented--yet theres a new AI update out every week.

  20. Some end users are security conscious, and would like to be notified the entire time a tech is logged in, instead of the window that disappears 20 seconds after the connection starts. Ideally, the notification would stay visible the entire duration of the remote session. TeamViewer has this feature in the bottom right corner, showing who is connected, and their TV ID. Simple click of the arrow minimizes the connection notification, but is still visible to show that a connection is ongoing.

    Alternatively, a notice that the tech is no longer connected might make the end user more comfortable.
