  1. When building out our knowledge base (KB) on Atera for the AI assistant to pull from I have noticed that it will sometimes pull an answer from the internet that I do not want instead of checking for a KB article on the topic first.
    It would be very helpful to better customize the AI assistant's answers if there were an option to force the AI assistant to review the KB every time before answering.

  3. Right now, we have the ability to flag a response as a resolution, and we have the ability to retroactively REMOVE a resolution flag, but we do not have the ability to retroactively ADD a resolution flag.

    The problem is that we might not flag a response as a resolution if we're not sure that it will actually solve the issue. But if it does, then we have no way of marking it as the resolution retroactively.

    It would be very nice to be able to flag a past ticket response as the resolution. It would be nice to even…

  6. It's great to have this feature but it's annoyingly hidden so many levels deep. I would bet many people don't even know it's there. I love the feature but it needs to be more front and center even if it's still somewhat limited. It's not really network discovery either, it's a security feature. Lets kick this software up a notch.

  8. The Network Discovery function is a very powerfull tool. But in complex and not structured scenarios there are lot of "known" devices where it is not possible to manage SNMP configuration or instlla the Agent (ie. Bank credit card readers, Telphone carrier managed routers, Known guests-users' laptops, Fiscal printers, etc..). In these cases shuold be very usefull to select an Unmonitored device and add it as a pre-defined Custom Asset (or Generic) by automatically filling the existing fields (Device type, MAC, Manufacturer, etc..) to monitor on/off line status.

  9. Atera should have additional billable (or free...) roles other than technicians. We have project managers & help desk admins that do not provide technical support.

    We don't use Atera's ticketing because our admin staff would cost us an extra $300/month just for them use the help desk, nothing else.

    We would love a discounted "role" of a "Help Desk Manager" who like a technician has granular access to help desk tickets per assigned client. But that's all they can do.

    We have someone that can manage tickets, assign tickets, but do not have to be a full $150/month agent since…

  12. Roles within Admin need to have the ability to have more control of what features each group has.
    Under RMM, the "Edit Device" feature is too strict. We want to be able to allow certain technicians to edit device names but not be able to delete them.

    Setting that can be turned off so that no technicians have the ability to delete anything.

  18. Make the Splashtop printer installation optional. The Splashtop printer confuses some of my clients and it is not needed on those PCs anyway. Splashtop is a little more reliable to me than AnyDesk but I need to lose those printers.

  20. All servers are by default monitored for availability but theres no way to change the threshold for that monitor. In some environments the internet connectiviy can be a challenge so it would be great to have the option to change the heartbeat monitoring time in a way it could be set to 10, 15, 30min or even 1 hour. Only if a device stays offline for that period it would raise an alert. (this is important for example for some African environments)
