  1. At the moment Atera will install the agent but assign this to the customer in an “Unassigned” state. We then have to update this manually in to folders. Atera should be able to decide whether the device is a workstation or a server, that way it can automatically go in to the correct patching/IT automation profiles.

  2. I have a small business client who is all cloud based and doesn't have any servers that can act as a monitoring agent for devices on their network. I selected a desktop PC at their reception desk to act as the monitoring agent for the office printer but it is likely that PC will go offline. I'd like to be able to specify multiple monitoring agents to act as a fallback.

  4. Ability to delete comments.

    If an external email has dropped inappropriate content into a ticket, we should be able to delete that ticket comment to remove the content.

  6. Seems like it should just be a basic function so it's weird that it's not already there.

    But, it would be really helpful if there was a counter at the top of the Devices list for customers showing the total number of devices. It's kind of silly to have to run a report just to see how many devices a customer has.

  8. I'd like to be able to determine the order of the ticket properties, as there are a few that we can't seem to move, even if the default and the ticket form have them in a certain order. Some items, while important to know, are not often changed and therefore could be further down on the list but do not show as so, even when on the bottom of both 'custom fields' and the form template lists.

  9. This could be really useful but there are a number of problems that are preventing us from using it:

    Chat does not push notifications to the OS. So, if the technician is not looking a the Atera portal page when a customer requests a chat session (which is 95% of the time), then the tech will be unaware of the request. This results in annoyed customers. I noticed that your technicians use Zendesk chat instead of your own chat----possibly for this reason. 

    Tickets created automatically by chat sessions (unlike those created in the portal or via email) do not notify…

  12. It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.

    The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.

  13. It's great to have this feature but it's annoyingly hidden so many levels deep. I would bet many people don't even know it's there. I love the feature but it needs to be more front and center even if it's still somewhat limited. It's not really network discovery either, it's a security feature. Lets kick this software up a notch.

  14. It would be much more neater for the "Device" tab you guys chnaged the Web GUI to have company treeview of devices. Then from there the devices organized into folder. High level you are greeted with companies then expand to organized folders such as Tech defined AD Servers, Database Servers, Sales Desktops, Sales Laptop

    That way for cleaner and simpler access to the computers you need without needing to create 100s of save views.

The shared password manager is used constantly by me and my team, but we are constantly running into the issue of one of us having the Authenticator associated with one of our clients accounts when servicing and needing them to authenticate for us. Sometimes they're busy, sometimes they don't see it, sometimes they deny it, and even worse, they're positively reinforced for accepting it without double checking it's one of us.

    A centralized shared authenticator would be a fantastic feature.

  16. We need to be able to assign a contact to multiple customers. We need this so our contact can see tickets from multiple customers of which he is the manager. Now he can only see the tickets from the customer he is assigned to. When trying to add him to another customer we can't because the email is already in use. If we want to do this now we have to manually change the email in the ticket. If this guy makes 10 tickets we have to manually change the email in 10 tickets. After responding from his own email,…

  19. Roles within Admin need to have the ability to have more control of what features each group has.
    Under RMM, the "Edit Device" feature is too strict. We want to be able to allow certain technicians to edit device names but not be able to delete them.

    Setting that can be turned off so that no technicians have the ability to delete anything.

  20. I would like the ability to create a step by step automation to control the order of which tasks/scripts get installed and insert reboot/shutdown tasks as needed. The automation would complete when all tasks have been completed in order. Having the ability to stop or continue on a task failure would be helpful as well. This would be similar to the automation of a Task Sequence in SCCM.
