  1. When building out our knowledge base (KB) on Atera for the AI assistant to pull from I have noticed that it will sometimes pull an answer from the internet that I do not want instead of checking for a KB article on the topic first.
    It would be very helpful to better customize the AI assistant's answers if there were an option to force the AI assistant to review the KB every time before answering.

  2. When using the splashtop client it would be nice to take advantage of the view-only feature that's available in their latest version. ( https://support-splashtopbusiness.splashtop.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056900592-View-Only-Mode )

  3. Seems like it should just be a basic function so it's weird that it's not already there.

    But, it would be really helpful if there was a counter at the top of the Devices list for customers showing the total number of devices. It's kind of silly to have to run a report just to see how many devices a customer has.

  5. I'd like to be able to determine the order of the ticket properties, as there are a few that we can't seem to move, even if the default and the ticket form have them in a certain order. Some items, while important to know, are not often changed and therefore could be further down on the list but do not show as so, even when on the bottom of both 'custom fields' and the form template lists.

  6. I'm currently evaluating Atera as a potential replacement for our existing help desk, which is lacking a really good asset management system. What I'm specifically needing is a better way to all of our assets as they come in the door and leave our environment for use. Ideally, the application would allow us to print labels in a variety of sizes for different devices and equipment, scan QR codes to checkin and checkout equipment (reserve equipment on the spot), complete maintenance surveys and allow users to take photos of equipment through the mobile app, and if I'm being a little…

  7. This could be really useful but there are a number of problems that are preventing us from using it:

    Chat does not push notifications to the OS. So, if the technician is not looking a the Atera portal page when a customer requests a chat session (which is 95% of the time), then the tech will be unaware of the request. This results in annoyed customers. I noticed that your technicians use Zendesk chat instead of your own chat----possibly for this reason. 

    Tickets created automatically by chat sessions (unlike those created in the portal or via email) do not notify…

  9. It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.

    The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.

  10. It's great to have this feature but it's annoyingly hidden so many levels deep. I would bet many people don't even know it's there. I love the feature but it needs to be more front and center even if it's still somewhat limited. It's not really network discovery either, it's a security feature. Lets kick this software up a notch.

  11. It would be much more neater for the "Device" tab you guys chnaged the Web GUI to have company treeview of devices. Then from there the devices organized into folder. High level you are greeted with companies then expand to organized folders such as Tech defined AD Servers, Database Servers, Sales Desktops, Sales Laptop

    That way for cleaner and simpler access to the computers you need without needing to create 100s of save views.

  12. The shared password manager is used constantly by me and my team, but we are constantly running into the issue of one of us having the Authenticator associated with one of our clients accounts when servicing and needing them to authenticate for us. Sometimes they're busy, sometimes they don't see it, sometimes they deny it, and even worse, they're positively reinforced for accepting it without double checking it's one of us.

    A centralized shared authenticator would be a fantastic feature.

  16. Roles within Admin need to have the ability to have more control of what features each group has.
    Under RMM, the "Edit Device" feature is too strict. We want to be able to allow certain technicians to edit device names but not be able to delete them.

    Setting that can be turned off so that no technicians have the ability to delete anything.

  18. A report or a additional choice to the Software Inventory report, I love that I can see everyone with a piece of software installed, but I would love to see a report of people MISSING software. I think the software Inventory is great for this just needs to be adjusted to allow for both.

  19. I just ran into an issue where a script was updated, but there was an error. There doesn't seem to be a way of restoring from a previous version or backup. It would be nice to have a history of the script and track changes.

  20. I would like the ability to create a step by step automation to control the order of which tasks/scripts get installed and insert reboot/shutdown tasks as needed. The automation would complete when all tasks have been completed in order. Having the ability to stop or continue on a task failure would be helpful as well. This would be similar to the automation of a Task Sequence in SCCM.
