  1. Attach executable files to script:
    One big thing that is missing is the ability to attach executable files to scripts so that custom software can be installed. Similar to Kace, and I think NinjaRMM has similar functionality. I find the chocolatey feature to be of little use since it appears to use the public repo. Chocolatey doesn’t recommend using the public repo for production use.

  2. I think it would be a good idea to be able to hide these tabs for certain roles
    EG we have a client that has an onsite technician and he has access to our ticketing system I do not want him to be able to see those tabs
    Our L1 techs should also not be able to see those tabs since we do not use them

  5. It would be nice to have a general AnyDesk download link to share on our website or with customers not having their device in Atera. something like sos.splashtop.com but for AnySesk.
    Likewise would be nice to have a quick connect option for AnyDesk in Atera, as we already have a valid license for it

  7. Suggestions:

    1. Ability to scan multiple subnets from one agent - don't try to be too clever here and lock us down to selecting a monitoring agent that has only been shown to have a matching internal LAN IP address for the subnet we are wanting to audit. We could be auditing an existing network that we have a management netwok on for example, so we know a node on that subnet can see the other subnets no issue, or we could be completely new to a network and want to start polling all of the known subnets from one agent…

  8. Use FIPS 140 compliant cryptographic algorithms for Agent Communications. Customers that have Compliancy requirements are unable to work with Atera Limiting our use case.

  10. Other RMM/PSA's have the ability to 'remote desktop' in to the machine via a loopback from its remote control app, AND logs in with stored admin credentials. This let's technicians login as admin without needing to know the admin creds.

    The same Atera competitor even cycles the admin password automaticly after x time, Making credential security even higher

  12. When a ticket is submitted via email or via portal, a ticket notification goes to the user via ticket automation.
    However, if a ticket is submitted by one user for another, we will change the Contact on the ticket to accurately reflect who needs to be serviced to resolve the issue. With other PSAs I have worked with, this would have the ability to trigger a notification to the new user that a ticket has been created/modified. Atera doesn't have that notification as an option in the Automation settings.

When you click on a device you can see the Metrics/Software/Hardware/Profiles etc. however you cannot see the recent processes that are running or have ran in the past on that device you are clicked on. The only way to see this to my knowledge is to click on reports and then go into Recent Processes. Can you add the ability to see recent processes when you click on a device? It would be nice to see a visual of the recent processes kind of like how you can see the cpu and memory metrics or hard drive space used. This…

  14. Global contracts that can be re-used by multiple customers. Ie - set up 'Break Fix' 'Project' 'Retainer' Etc and then just select which one is default for each customer. Unless I'm (and chat support) missing something. We need to create the same contract/s for each customer... which means that if terms ever change within the business we would then need to change each contract/s for each customer.

  17. Most of us are IT Professionals and we don't need Atera telling us how to do our jobs, we can come up with some pretty interesting passwords. We don't need FORCED 2FA. I like that it is an option but should not be forced on your users, we are paying for this software, we should be able to use it as we wish and we accept responsibility if we mess up. I have left other vendors for the same thing I really don't want to leave Atera.

  18. Allow creating of folders based in filtered criteria (e.g. servers).

    This way we don't have to remember to manually add new servers to the folder that is getting server based automation.

  19. ARM processor support for Windows 10 and Mac OS. Since Apple is going to be moving towards the ARM processors in the future for their lines. Will need to be able to support them. Microsoft Surface lines as well as several Laptops that utilize LTE with Windows 10 mostly run on ARM processors.
