  1. We often work with users who may need password resets or new account creations. It would be nice to have a built-in feature that allows us to encrypt these types of communications to ensure the safety and security of credentials. Currently, we have to use other software.

  2. Goal: To be able to strip RE: re: Re: rE: FW: fw: Fw: fW: and other common modifications of email subject lines from incoming emails. Overall want to increase the rate of which tickets automatically merge when end users reply.

    Suggestion: Ticket automation rule to look for strings provided by technicians on incoming emails and remove them. Create helpful tools with the automation to prevent accidental removal of valid data. Such as clearing defining what "*RE:" does vs " RE: " vs " RE:" and etc etc.

  3. Protected Custom Field - It would be great if we could hash or protect custom fields in order to store passwords, as these can be pulled from API or PSAtera. This could be utilized to give unique local passwords to each workstation.

  4. The new script-based threshold item is a really great addition, but it highlights an important component missing from Atera - inheritance.

    When applying thresholds to endpoints, it's necessary to have thresholds inherit monitors from upstream thresholds. Right now in Atera, only one threshold can be applied to any endpoint at a time. What we need are thresholds that can build upon each other and overwrite values based on where the value changes.

    For instance, I'd like to configure a top level (default) threshold to apply to everyone, but then get more specific with thresholds at a customer, and even more…

  5. It would be very useful if we would be able to select an asset when creating (or working on) a ticket.

    We want to use the assets feature to keep track of our customer's printers. If we also manage the pc/server/... we can install the Atera agent but that is not always an option, unfortunately. If we can attach assets to the tickets we can easily filter and keep track of the issues we've had to deal with.

  6. It would be advantageous to have IP subnet as an attribute for a location. Upon setting that attribute, devices can intelligently be attached to the site if they are in that subnet.

  7. Mobile App: would like to see where I can assign to ticket. Would be great on that first screen, to see where the ticket is and assign it. It is just too many clicks. Would be more comfortable. Especially when you are on the go.

  9. The Alerts page on the mobile app needs work, specifically the 3 dots that rarely work. As there are only two options "Resolve","Snooze" it would be better to have the ability to swipe left or right on the alert to choose which option you want (this would looks much like the way one would archive/delete an email in the Gmail or Outlook apps.)

  10. I use Atera for myself and I work for 4 different companies. I will work long hours and I can't close a ticket at midnight because it will trigger several alerts to an employee in the middle of the night. Would love to have the option to close a ticket without sending a notification to the employee.

  12. The mobile app needs the ability to be used in Landscape view. Some of us would prefer to travel with a tablet instead of a laptop, but until the browser can open the Splashtop app, we're stuck using the mobile app. Super not-user-friendly when a tablet is in landscape mode using a keyboard and you have to awkwardly move it to read anything.

  13. Stop sending the same alert for the same device multiple times.
    When receiving Disk Usage/CPU/Memory/Temperature alerts, these are creating new tickets going to different techs and sending multiple emails to customers about the same thing which is spammy. Would be good to stop receiving the same alert multiple times until it is fixed.

  17. Ability to select multiple computers and click on WAKE instead of having to do so per device.

    Currently when we click on Wake, we get a prompt asking for hich device to send the packet. Even if the devices are not on the same LAN, the 1st (default?) device that would come up in that window per device would be OK to send the packet.

  19. Attach executable files to script:
    One big thing that is missing is the ability to attach executable files to scripts so that custom software can be installed. Similar to Kace, and I think NinjaRMM has similar functionality. I find the chocolatey feature to be of little use since it appears to use the public repo. Chocolatey doesn’t recommend using the public repo for production use.

  20. Please add an Advanced Filter for Uptime so that we can show agents that were last started, for example, 5 days ago. We can then run a Reboot automation task on this filter; this will be a tremendous help to us!
