  1. User activity or when they are logged in and for how long etc. would be a real bonus with this software. The data is there, basically I would like to see when and for how long each PC/User is logged on especially now with people working at home

  2. Currently, you can pause alerts from the Device > Manage > Pause Alerts for up to 5 hours, we have a server we won't reach for over two days so we need a longer option

  4. Set an alert schedule for different customers/The ability to automatically snooze alerts for certain periods of time each day.

    This has been a slight issue for us due to patch management causing high CPU and Memory usage alerts to be created so we get lots of alerts overnight.
    It would be nice to be able to snooze these for particular customers but to be able to do it automatically or on a schedule.

  5. Since your agent will likely be on every workstation more functionality or options for WOL would be great. Often servers sit on a different VLAN/Network subnet than workstations. Regardless of that Atera only provides the option of a server to send the WOL packet. As we know WOL is an L2 protocol and will not cross network subnets/VLAN's inherently. If Atera could make the agents network subnet aware that would help a lot. Then when trying to wake up a workstation only options on the same network would be able to come up.

  6. When Anydesk is installed on a client computer, the "Network Discovery" feature in Anydesk is turned on by default. That means that users that open Anydesk can see other computers in their network. In addition to this, users can go to Privacy and change their username in Atera. These two in combination open up for someone to impersonate for example an IT-person, and then initiate a connection request to other unknowing users.

    This should be possible to adjust in Atera, so that either of these services can be turned off.

  7. More information from the PC's would be nice (e.g. take look at the amount of info that PDQ Inventory can grab from client devices without even requiring an agent installation).

  9. A username and password for a PA with no access to reports, devices or alerts.
    All that should be available is the tickets section - create tickets on behalf of customers when the PA picks up the phone, ability to re-assign tickets from one engineer to another.

  10. Quickbooks Time integration within Atera web/mobile platform.

    Quickbooks Time is already a well established time tracking software that directly inputs time into Quickbooks (Online and Desktop), and accounts for other legal time tracking requirements such as state overtime laws, auditing of time editing/entry, location tracking, ect.

    They have an API to allow for integration into other platforms like Atera. Being able to do a start/stop timer with Quickbooks Time and that time being already tied to Quickbooks Payroll, will ensure that employees accurately track their time on tickets.   12. Atera reporting isnt good, I could do with the ability to report real time so I can write my own meaningful reports for internal staff and external customers. I was advised this is a feature in the pipeline. If you have an early adopters program, I would like to be on it.

  13. I need to generate a report of all of the computers in my account that have been on for more than 30 days so that I can tell them to reboot... Because rebooting FIXES 90% OF THE PROBLEMS!!! Imagine having less to deal with... :)

  14. At the moment Atera will install the agent but assign this to the customer in an “Unassigned” state. We then have to update this manually in to folders. Atera should be able to decide whether the device is a workstation or a server, that way it can automatically go in to the correct patching/IT automation profiles.

  16. Can you focus less on adding AI to every single thing, and actually just fix the basic existing issues that have been on here for an extended time? We were told that we would be able to assign multiple computers to a user when we signed up months ago, but that still hasnt been implemented--yet theres a new AI update out every week.

  19. I'm currently evaluating Atera as a potential replacement for our existing help desk, which is lacking a really good asset management system. What I'm specifically needing is a better way to all of our assets as they come in the door and leave our environment for use. Ideally, the application would allow us to print labels in a variety of sizes for different devices and equipment, scan QR codes to checkin and checkout equipment (reserve equipment on the spot), complete maintenance surveys and allow users to take photos of equipment through the mobile app, and if I'm being a little…

  20. This could be really useful but there are a number of problems that are preventing us from using it:

    Chat does not push notifications to the OS. So, if the technician is not looking a the Atera portal page when a customer requests a chat session (which is 95% of the time), then the tech will be unaware of the request. This results in annoyed customers. I noticed that your technicians use Zendesk chat instead of your own chat----possibly for this reason. 

    Tickets created automatically by chat sessions (unlike those created in the portal or via email) do not notify…
