  1. An approval process within the Atera tenants should be put into place for a newly added device after an Atera agent has been installed onto a machine for addtional security. This to avoid "rouge devices being added to tenant.

  3. When preventing Atera agent uninstall, support informed me that running powershell command to uninstall Atera agent is the only option. Pushing the uninstallation from the console should be enabled

The situation is sometimes clients download free software from the internet which might contain malware, to stop this, I am suggesting a feature in the Atera agent for controlling the UAC of the client. So whenever a client needs UAC admin access, The agent blocks him and in real-time notifies the technician about the authorisation request to approve/deny. If the technician approves the request, the Agent should autofill the Admin password which can be set from the Atera dashboard, and give the client access. Install the agent on a PC by browsing to a simple webpage on the target PC (i.e. atera.com/add) which displays a unique QR code, scanning the QR code from mobile app, and assigning the PC to a customer/folder from the app on my phone. PC is then offered the appropriate download to install the agent.

  7. The Splashtop popup in the lower right hand corner, stating someone is remotely monitoring/working on your PC/Server. Can this have an option to leave it visible for the entire remote session. A few customers have asked me (from a security perspective) about this capability as they deal with sensitive data

  8. When losing a client there should be a way to delete EVERYTHING; Atera agent, Splashtop, AnyDesk, and any apps purchased through Atera, This should work for any unit online and for any off-line unit when it comes back online, without disturbing the client's users.

  9. Agent should be generic name or allow branding

    White Label branding is in nearly all competitors products to allow branding! Atera should also allow customizing and branding or generically displaying the install program name and folder name, as well as in the Apps and Add Remove Program Files.

    Instead of “Atera” under Program Files or Program Files (x86), or the Apps and Add Remove Program files use something like "ITSupportAgent" or “CompanyNameSupport” Customers see the Atera program and do not know it and uninstall it. If it was the IT department or service providers name they would recognize it.

  11. The dashboard should be able to more customizable, not just have checkboxes for predetermined widgets. Should be able to add any view already in Atera, such as device views, ticket views, etc. So you could also have a ticket widget that is a breakdown per customer, devices per customer, devices in a patched, not patched status etc.

  19. Ability to remove "view" option for scripts for tech that are not admin - Currently when they run the script on a device, there is option to view the script. The use case for that is, if we are using API key in the script to use custom fields, we don't want to expose our API key to normal technicians.

  20. When there are 0-day threats, it would be great to target machines with the 0-day patches released from Microsoft etc... and made available from the Software Installation option and being able to search for the KB number to deploy.
    Alternatively if Atera had its own storage available to its customers to reference for the afore mentioned updates. Customers could download their own patches and search for them to be deployed centrally.
