  1. It is critical that when I search my device list, it includes the Notes field for each device. I put relevant notes about where the device is or who is using it in that field. My device naming convention is random and ordinal making it confusing if I don't read/have the notes.

  3. I have several large clients that stream real time video to events like Black Hat 2023 in Las Vegas. If you are unfamiliar with the event it has a virtual booth day on the last half of the ticket.

    I have clients in remote location that will stream thier presentation directly to the company booth. They use software encoders to push the video to the booth server.

    They run in to problems like Task Manager popping up while broadcasting. This wrecks the stream and they look embarrasing to thier clients. This has happened hundreds of times.

  4. Would be good to see reporting of axient backup intergrated to atera.
    Job Status, Job Completion, Job Failure etc.

    If we could have the atera dashboard display this info and send alerts to technicians would be nice.

  5. You should be able to create a ticket via the API with only a Agent ID or name.

    If I am running a script and want to create a ticket from the agent, we should be able to attach an agent and ignore the user field information.
    The User information should be relatable from the agent in Atera automatically.

  6. Since the default is disabled, there should be a way to see if it is enabled in the GUI without having to use a script or something of the like.

    Or have a global setting to "Enable" it by default so that you don't have to configure each machine.

  8. Having a single email address for a user account leads to fragmentation of the helpdesk ticketing system. For example, a person working from home may not have access to their work email (associated to a user account in Atera), and may need to create a helpdesk ticket using their personal email.     We find that servers do not have a "Threshold Profile".

    From my exchange with support, there is no solution to list servers without a profile or with a specific profile like "None" or whatever.

    Can you add this function please.

  11. We should be able to add (and sort) our custom asset fields in the list.
    There is a lot of data there, and having to open each item is not a good way of managing these assets.

    We should be able to add the custom fields as columns and to be able to sort them.

  18. It should be possible for a technician to delete a time entry without having full admin access.

    Without full admin access, a technician can even delete an entire ticket. It is also possible to edit the time entries as desired and to select whether the entry should be billed or not.

    With all these possibilities, it would be desirable if the technician could also delete the ticket right away.

  19. Ticket timers. I have noticed that when a ticket has been worked on you can start the timer and it works for the first time from 0 to accurately track time. How ever if you do more work on that ticket for a different day or a different item under the same ticket for tracking purposes, it retains the time that was already there. So, Rather then having an accurate time for both sub projects you have to memorize the time previously taken and then subtract the time already done from the total to get an accurate time frame.   20. I would like the ability to reference 1 install per customer or to be able to just connect to ScreenConnect with an Atera account. This could be as simple as automating the process for remote accessing a PC in ScreenConnect or allowing for there to be 1 ScreenConnect install per customer. This would allow us to stay organized in ScreenConnect while also allowing us to integrate our applications for ease of use.
