  2. Since Atera has partnered with Axcient for the computer backups with X360Recover, also adding their X360Cloud backup for M365 data would be very helpful. Is this something considered?

It would be very interesting and very useful if the atera mobile application allows interaction with tickets so that field technicians who come to resolve incidents on site can record their times, used products and services, economically valued, and collect the customer's signature. . basically it would be interesting to be able to use it as a ticket application to close work orders on site.

  6. Instead of only supporting fill-in-the-blank/text-box variables, it would help to be able to supply a pre-populated list of options the technician can choose from.

    Providing a list the tech can choose from would eliminate the chance of a typo messing up a script, or otherwise choosing an invalid/wrong value.

    This means we can possibly condense a dozen or more script variants into one script with a drop-down menu.

  8. When the majority of your clients are windows based and a handful are Apple. Allowing the techs that manage the Apple accounts to have a higher subscription than the others. This helps with not having to upgrade all subscriptions.

  9. I would very much like a lot of improvement when monitoring Windows event logs. I don't want to specify an event source -OR- event ID. I need to specify the log, source, -AND- the ID.

    The very few prebuilt Atera event monitors have the ability to notify based on frequency. At the very least I would like to change that frequency, but it would be extremely helpful if we could specify a frequency like that when building a custom monitor.

    I also want to monitor events based on their criticality but not have that set the criticality of the alert…

  10. Context menu behavior. On devices in search page, make the context menu shift to stay visible in the window. Currently it is a fixed position which causes issues on smaller screen resolutions or when restarting devices.

  12. Domotz Add-On

    Please do not automatically begin charging for an add-on after the trial. This is what happened to me after selecting the trial for Domotz, I am now been working via email to "UNDO" this subscription that I have already been billed for which I didnt order.

  13. Anticipation of Hardware:
    Would be nice to run a report that would do an estimation of the hardware in X amount of that so I can recommend for the hard drive. To be able to replace it in advance. There is all the information on the system but just to let them know when the issue will happen. You can see over time.

  14. This is essential in preventing double responses on tickets.

    Ticket locking feature. Once a tech is on a ticket, all actions within the ticket would be locked for subsequent techs that visit.

    That is, as long as the original tech is on the ticket or after a set amount of time while the original tech is on.

    For example, Tech 1 views the ticket. Tech 2 views the ticket and it is locked. Tech 1 leaves the ticket. Tech 2 can now edit/respond to the ticket.

  16. AnyDesk is a really good tool, but for us it's let down by one thing, missing a button to paste your clipboard as keystrokes.

    Splashtop has this feature and it's invaluable for us, as we use it to paste complex passwords into server logon screens. Unfortunately CRTL C and CTRL V doesn't work on these password boxes.

    So when logging in to a server using AnyDesk, we have to type out really complex passwords which can take some time as they are all different.

    A 'Paste Clipboard as Keystrokes' button will go amazingly with the newly implemented CTRL ALT DEL…

  17. Lots of systems have multiple interfaces for monitoring, particularly enterprise hardware. As one example, we have the Agent installed on a HP server. The HP server also has an iLO interface, we would like to add OID's to monitor the array, disk smart status, temps etc.

    Currently we have to duplicate servers, once with Agent install and again as a SNMP device to monitor hardware. This is not ideal as the device list gets messy.

    In Zabbix you can add multiple monitoring methods to a single device (eg; Agent, SNMP, IPMI, etc etc).

  18. Automated rules based on things like below

    • device type - Server / Laptop / Desktop
    • OS Type
    • OS Version
    • etc.

    This would then allow us to setup automation rules for newly installed agents or publish IT Automation based on criteria like so

    If "computer os" is "windows 10" then install these applications

    this automates the ability to install AV / Applications / etc. when a new agent comes online for a customer

    this in turn allows for an agent to be installed onto a computer which will then automate chocolaty to install

    we would also need options to install webroot…

  19. When viewing a device for a customer, it would be nice to go to the next device without having to return to the customer's page.

    For clients with 40+ devices, it would save time to be able to go forward & backwards in the list of devices.
