  1. This will allow the IT-Dpt to notify users of things, say the office's antivirus is being changed to another. Just send a pop-up to the screens to remind them to keep their machines on when they leave so the IT-Dpt can use scripts while they're out of the office so no one's work gets disrupted :)

  2. at the moment you can nowhere can see in the device view of an server/desktop agent if it is monitoring other devices like "generic".

    at the moment we swap a lof of virtual servers which monitor certain others things in the network. you finally see it if you want to delete an old, swapped server, then you get the note that there are devices monitored.

    1. Need to be able to expand the window and/or columns when viewing the Registry Editor. Text is cut off and can't see things without doing a LOT of extra clicks and guessing to find out if I'm on the right entry or not.

    2. Since the HKEYCURRENTUSER is not shown, have an easy way to tell the user which profile is the correct one under HKEY_USERS. This can possilbly be matched by automatically parsing the ProfileImagePath under each user at this location:

    HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

We would like to have the ability to assign different licensing to different employees as an example if we have a security team to do some port checking or so we would like to assign them the network discovery option but not for the rest of the team that will never use it. This goes for Guest as well for example: Customer would lik to use our tool to jump on his own machines so we should be able to assign a limited license for remote management only.

  5. It is imperative that there be a separate/different subject line when a computer is unavailable, and also that it indicates how many computers are involved. This is basic for any RMM and is a huge flaw in your service. For those of us who have a lot of customers/machines, there are a lot of emails that come in daily and it is way too easy to miss ones as critical as unavailability. It cannot be that difficult to have those go out with a different subject line, or even allow for text notifications under those circumstances.

  6. When deleting an agent or attempting to execute an automation profile (i.e. run scripts) the tasks should go into a queue that will execute when the agent goes back online. There should be an option for a timeout for the tasks in the queue.

    When deleting a whole customer agents that were offline at the time end up in the "Unassigned" "customer", which is annoying and requires manual cleanup.

  8. Under patch summary report, we can see agents that are offline or are not responsive. Is there anyway we can access offline/ unresponsive agent right from the report screen?

    Idea is to get working on the machines that are non responsive when running patches.

  9. Check to see which machines have OneDrive logged in and running to ensure data is backed up in real time. This could then single out which users do not have it running and allow us to prompt them to start it and log in to protect their data.

  10. We have some clients that don't want any patch management. This is fine as we can exclude their devices from any Automation / Patching profiles. However, their devices still populate the new Patch Management portal.

    It would be ideal to be able to exclude clients, folders, or individual machines from the Patch Management portal. This would give a more accurate number of machines requiring patches etc.

  11. Please add a column for Last Logged User to the default output of the Software Inventory Report for detailed excel export in the Devices tab.

    Right now, I have to export a detailed excel report then go into the customer profile to see the last logged user and manually add them. It is very time consuming, especially if several different software changes were made to several machines between report runs. Having this column added by default would make it alot faster.

    This is my very specific request.

  12. Atera has made some great changes when monitoring Windows event logs, but there are still some features that would make it much more valuable.

    I would like to be able to filter events based on the contents of their description. Let's say I'm monitoring the Application log for any events generated by the Application Crash and Application Hang sources. While this is helpful, it generates lots of noise and unnecessary alerts. Since there are a limited number of critical applications that I'm worried about, I want to specify those application names in the monitor so that Atera only generates alerts…

  13. i see multiple feature requests for the same thing all with multiple upvotes.
    The request is for automation to be run on machines when they come online as the current setup will skip devices that are offline.

    This is such a crucial feature for automation to work effectively as machines will not always be online at your given schedule as users do not always abide by your requests. for the client device to come online and have scripts/automation's in its queue and then action them is critical

    1.We are using Atera last few months , we have more than 10 support engineer and we need to provide them atera portal access read only the user can only see the option in atera can monitor and can't do anything .

  15. More Mac add-ons, being windows-centric limits clients abilities to perform within a single pane of glass. For example, your Acronis add-on, although the platform does support Mac, the Atera version of the add-on only supports windows machines. That's a huge limiter for some environments.

  16. On non domain joined machines the network discovery shows that my machines are windows XP and not windows 10.

  17. It would be really helpful to us to have the model of the equipment shown on the screen when you select Network Discovery. We would use this to help determine age of equipment and much quicker and list much more machines per page. Currently to get the model information we have to open the device.

    Maybe even the ability to customize the view on this screen would be even more helpful.

  18. have the option to make filters on the admin side to allow technicians to have predetermined filters when viewing the event viewer logs through atera. along with allowing filter adjustments when looking at a specific device. would also like a scheduled report for the admin filters that would be created, if it can act like the services and detect in a similar way, to have the ability to create a ticket of some sort to help us find a solution to the concern prior to the client or at least state we are already working on the concern, it would…
