  1. A patch that is 15GB large, won't be installed on a server, with only 13GB of free space. And there are no alarms about it won't be installed.

    So the feature request is to be able to create an alarm, when there are a patch not being installed because of lack of free space on the device.

  2. It seems as though the remote command prompt and powershell have declined in performance rather than improved. It has always been buggy and had refresh issues, but now scrolling does not work as expected -- I now have to manually scroll down (this used to work). Also, if the command prompt or powershell dialog is minimized, it is non-responsive when restored -- I have to kill it and re-open a new instance.

  3. When i view the customer list, the buttons are too large, it would be nice to be able to list my customers all on one page, instead of having to scroll to find the one i want.

  5. An approval process within the Atera tenants should be put into place for a newly added device after an Atera agent has been installed onto a machine for addtional security. This to avoid "rouge devices being added to tenant.

  6. When preventing Atera agent uninstall, support informed me that running powershell command to uninstall Atera agent is the only option. Pushing the uninstallation from the console should be enabled

  7. Provide one viewer license per company account. This viewer license allows you to display your teams dashboard on a central digital display in the office without having to use a tech license.

    That way it can be set to run 24/7 on a TV allowing management and team members to track progress and stats.

  9. Enhance our monitoring capabilities by introducing a new feature similar to ActivTrak, which allows for advanced productivity tracking and the identification of suspicious activity on monitored computers.

  10. The Splashtop popup in the lower right hand corner, stating someone is remotely monitoring/working on your PC/Server. Can this have an option to leave it visible for the entire remote session. A few customers have asked me (from a security perspective) about this capability as they deal with sensitive data

  12. When building the criterias of a ticket automation, it would be most helpful to have a "TEST" button to find out which tickets are being captured by the filters we built to make sure it is working as expected.

    Also it would be helpful to see what "changes would have been made" if the rule was turned on.

    So a press on the "TEST" button would display something like:

    Ticket #1234: change status to "Closed", email blah@company.com
    Ticket #1256: change status to "Closed", email blip@company.com

    etc.

  13. A Patch Management page, Not a report. Where we can see all available updates. Approve/Deny/Postpone them. Also see how many devices are missing said update and click install if needed.

    in the same place an overview of what devices are currently downloading/installing/updating/Failed live view

    I have tried using the report and clicking install all missing patches but this does not work. However going to each individual asset and clicking select all > install works.

    So to recap an actual patch management page, where we can manage all systems/customers etc

  14. Automatic Cleanup of alerts:
    It could be usefull for an MSP to have a possibility to schedule automatic cleanups of alerts based on specific filters.
    An example:
    delete all alerts with severity XY of customer XYZ that are older than x months.

    This will help to have a smaller list of alerts.

  18. Most SNMP devices I deal with have the ability to send SNMP traps to a receiver, it would be nice to have the agent receive traps so issues can be discovered quickly (and this allows increasing the cycle of polling SNMP as issues from the device would be pushed immediately when detected)

  19. Atera does not allow us to fetch records based on the email or phone number, it allows us to use the ID only. This makes 2-way syncing with crm's nearly impossible . I'm requesting that Atera's api allow the use of other fields (primary and composite keys) to identify and fetch contacts, customers, etc.

  20. Have DNS Addresses show under IP Address for Devices. Would be pretty handy in a lot of situations. It's always DNS!
