User deletion
We have techs leaving and new ones coming in. There is no way for us to simply DELETE old accounts. If we want to keep our users database clean, we need to rename old accounts for new techs. And we've encountered issues with them being able to access those accounts once the user name was changed. There needs to be a way for us to clean-up our own users.

Local Active Directory Integration
Using a local active directory environment to sync contacts and devices is a critical part of remote management. Being able to add or remove a user who has just left the company/entity in our active directory environment and it leaving ALL systems is not only time saving but also removes the chance of errors. I'd also like to see directory editing integrated directly into the Atera platform, like installing the Atera agent on the domain controller and being able to make AD changes from the web interface. Both of these would streamline technician training and our day-to-day work.

Custom Ticket Activity Status
Recently Atera has added the ability to create custom ticket status, and also change the Ticket Activity Status manually. However I would like to create our own custom ticket activity status' beyond the "Read" "unread" "Awaiting customer response" "Awaiting Technician Response".
Personally I find the coloured labels much easier to identify what the status of a ticket is, so being able to add Activity status' like "Pending Third Party" or "Booked in" will make it much easier to see what tickets I don't need to look at with a quick glance.

Designate Local Patch Repository Servers
Patch Repository - Ability to set serveral PC's or servers as patch repositories and assign computers to use that PC to retrieve patches to save bandwidth.

Auto resolve eventlog alerts
I would be nice, to set a rule to eventlog alerts, that if the event doesnt occour again in X minutes, then the alert is resolved automatically.
Or make an option to resolve the alert based on later events.

AI and Help Buttons are in the way
Can we talk about how the AI and help buttons in the bottom right of the screen are always in the way ? I always seem to need to click the one element on the page that is at the bottom and covered by the buttons.
Can we please get some additional padding added to all of the pages so that those buttons wont cover anything up.

Granular User Permissions (Client Folder for example)
More granular user permissions. A lot of things now require the highest admin rights which should really be reserved for the owner. Also, it would be nice if the folders for client devices allowed granular permissions, that way certain techs could have access to some client devices but not all.

Include Webroot Antivirus Inactive in Threshold Item
I would like the ability to know if a systems Webroot is not working properly or running. Same applies for Windows Firewall.

Broadcast a message / also ability to scheduled a broadcast message.
If we can broadcast message to specific client, we can remind them to leave their computer on over night so scheduled update would be run. Or if there is a scam email being send to everyone in the organization, we could let them know to delete the message. As Atera agent already installed on all the machines, pushing a pop up message would help to reach many users quickly.

Connection status to an Agent
Would like to see some kind of status, if someone is currently connected to a device. Meaning, I go through all the steps of making a connection to the point it starts to paint the desktop and then I get a message that someone else is already connected. Just would be nice to know that before hand, and possibly who is connected, before going through those steps, and find another method.
Our team mostly uses Splashtop for our remote connections.

Windows updates installed with Atera are not synced with local client PC update history
According to Atera support, Windows Updates installed with Atera are not synced with the local Client PC update history - so no possibility for the client to check the patch level on the device. In my opinion this is a bug, not a feature.

Password access in the portal
Allow customers to access their own passwords. I.e. Log into the portal to access their email password if forgotten.

Work from Home report
Would like to see a report that could be run against the system to see which customers have "Work from Home" enabled on computers.
This is for 2 reasons, billing, and much more, security.
Need to be able to see more than anything, which customer have this enabled.

Automated rules based on Criteria
Automated rules based on things like below
- device type - Server / Laptop / Desktop
- OS Type
- OS Version
- etc.
This would then allow us to setup automation rules for newly installed agents or publish IT Automation based on criteria like so
If "computer os" is "windows 10" then install these applications
this automates the ability to install AV / Applications / etc. when a new agent comes online for a customer
this in turn allows for an agent to be installed onto a computer which will then automate chocolaty to install
we would also need options to install webroot…
