  1. It would make the cost so much more worth it if we were able to do Vuln scans and present an executive report directly from Atera. As it stands now the export is worthless via the excel sheet. It doesnt show the machine names for the CVE's listed

  2. I can only display the last comment made by the customer in an automated email ticket. The issue is that there is no context for the user's response without visiting the Atera portal. A helpful feature would be to allow the entire ticket conversation to be displayed in an automated email template when the user updates a ticket.

  3. I would be nice, to set a rule to eventlog alerts, that if the event doesnt occour again in X minutes, then the alert is resolved automatically.

    Or make an option to resolve the alert based on later events.

  4. We have techs leaving and new ones coming in. There is no way for us to simply DELETE old accounts. If we want to keep our users database clean, we need to rename old accounts for new techs. And we've encountered issues with them being able to access those accounts once the user name was changed. There needs to be a way for us to clean-up our own users.

  5. Using this application as MSP's, we should have the ability to remotely wipe a mobile device if we find that the device is lost or stolen, an employee is no longer employed and doesn't return the mobile device, but decides to commit corporate espionage or damage the data stored on the device. This would be a great addition to a product that is great and easy to use. Please add this to the next feature release. This would be great.

  6. Google Workspace Intergration.
    Using Atera for internal IT it would be great to be able to:
    + sync users, OU and groups for support portal.
    + sync assets such as company owned devices
    + using Google (shared) Drive for storing documentation.
    + SSO with Google for atera techs and support-portal users.

  7. More granular user permissions. A lot of things now require the highest admin rights which should really be reserved for the owner. Also, it would be nice if the folders for client devices allowed granular permissions, that way certain techs could have access to some client devices but not all.

  9. Would like to see a report that could be run against the system to see which customers have "Work from Home" enabled on computers.

    This is for 2 reasons, billing, and much more, security.

    Need to be able to see more than anything, which customer have this enabled.
    Right now you have to look customer by customer, takes to much time.

  10. When using SplashTop to remote connect to an end-user, the ability to remote in hidden would help when trying to track any activity that could break policies or for coaching.

  11. Would like to see some kind of status, if someone is currently connected to a device. Meaning, I go through all the steps of making a connection to the point it starts to paint the desktop and then I get a message that someone else is already connected. Just would be nice to know that before hand, and possibly who is connected, before going through those steps, and find another method.

    Our team mostly uses Splashtop for our remote connections.

  12. Have a way to monitor or see Network Utilization in a device metrics chart for the max, avg, upload, download for the network? For instance, if a site is claiming issues with their network, I would like to see if a device that is being monitored by our ATERA is using up the network bandwidth. Note: I am a small business MSP and most of my clients don't have the network hardware in place to monitor in detail this information.

  14. Allow customers to access their own passwords. I.e. Log into the portal to access their email password if forgotten.

  16. Some end users are security conscious, and would like to be notified the entire time a tech is logged in, instead of the window that disappears 20 seconds after the connection starts. Ideally, the notification would stay visible the entire duration of the remote session. TeamViewer has this feature in the bottom right corner, showing who is connected, and their TV ID. Simple click of the arrow minimizes the connection notification, but is still visible to show that a connection is ongoing.

    Alternatively, a notice that the tech is no longer connected might make the end user more comfortable.

  18. It is critical we have an area on the invoice/bill for us to be able to add comments or notes for the customer to be able to see.

    Also adding the same notes feature to products, so that when a product is invoiced for, ect new equipment, that the customer can see a detailed description of the product they are being invoiced for.

  19. I would like to have a view to see if contacts are not using Work from Home. This way we can audit who is not using the feature and release the license and not bill a customer for something they are not using.

  20. Software inventory needs more accurate information. I install software but when running Advanced Conditions from the Devices section, they do not work reliably. If I manually do a Software Inventory operation, then go back, it will apply the filter properly. The refreshing is tedious, especially with hundreds or thousands of devices.
