retired devices should be renamed to "infrequent devices"
This terminology needs improving
Retired devices should be renamed to "Infrequent Devices" and in general settings moved to section called reporting rather than agent settings and described as the "Infrequent devices threshold".
Just because a machine has not been switched on recently, does not mean it is retired! - it could be a laptop that is only used twice a year as a standby, but just should be excluded from certain patch compliance reports etc.proper retirement of machines is a whole different feature as per https://atera.uservoice.com/forums/936306-ideas-and-feedback/suggestions/44000010-ability-to-archive-retired-devices

deviceguid api
API: The possibility to find a computer by its DeviceGuid
The possibility to find a computer by its DeviceGuid, so there will only be 1 result, if the computer is there – then we don’t need to run through more machines with same “machineName”
Get agents for specified machine: GET /api/v3/agents/machine/{DeviceGuid}

Ability to archive retired devices
I want to be able to show my customers what machines have been replaced over the replacement cycle, so I do not want to delete retired machines from atera, I want to be able to mark them as retired and exclude them from everything except a retired assets report.
The current system of hide devices not seen for X days is not the same thing, Just because a device has not been switched on for say 300 days, does not mean that I do not need to know of it's existence for the fixed assets register.

Do not alert for scheduled reboots
If an automation calls for a scheduled reboot, the alert system should not alert "machine status unknown" right away. In these instances, it should wait some time (like 20-30 minutes) before alerting. 99% of the time, no alert should occur. If updates fail or a server doesn't come back up after a reboot, an alert should occur since the 20-30 minutes have elapsed.

Display a notice if a machine or client has a note on their account, kind of like a popup ad
When entering a client's account, if there's a note on the account (or on a device) have it make the users acknowledge that note (with an option to ignore for say 24 hours) instead of having it below where it is hard for people to notice.

"Update all" button on Devices page
I believe there should be a button within the navbar of the Devices tab that once selecting specific machines, allows you to update all patches on those machines, rather than doing a report, manually clicking all unnecessary machines or doing it patch by patch on the Patch Management page.

The machine name and customer is no longer a hyperlink to open in new tab
So before the alerts page update, the device name and customer name was a unique hyperlink in which you can (by clicking the mouse wheel button) open the device or customer in a new page.
I need to open a new tab by clicking customer and manually navigating to the device within the customer devices list. This is not a great UI experience and I would appreciate if the old functionality could be restored.

option to disable bitlocker when rebooting after patching
When rebooting a windows machine after patching check if the machine has a bitlocker encrypted boot drive and disable bitlocker encryption.
Optional (and maybe harder, so maybe don't bother):
Have an option to set -RebootCount (for how many reboots bitlocker should be disabled) or set it to >1 as some updates reboot multiple times and check after reboot if patching is done and re-enable bitlocker.Alternatively:
Have an option to start a script at the beginning of the patch process so we can do is ourselves with Powershell's Suspend-BitLocker cmdlet.2 votes -
Windows Microsoft Store Updates
There seems to be a issue with MS Store downloading and installing updates automatically. I have to remote access each users machine, open the Store, select Library, then Get Updates for the majority of the apps on the machine to receive their updates. I have followed all of Microsoft's how-to-guides on how to resolve this issue, but it still persists.
I would like to see something in IT Automation or Agent function that includes scans for, validates, downloads, installs, and verifies installation for MS Store updates. It would be excellent if it could reference current CVEs during it's scan…

Filter Alerts by Agent
Whether I'm under customer alerts or all alerts there are filters, but we are missing a filter by agent. This could be done just the same as the advanced device filters. We collect so much data on alerts but there's no way to see all the historical alerts for a single machine.

Update Preset Threshold Items for Software Installed/Uninstalled Events
The existing preset threshold item for the "Software Installed" event has a description of "Trigger an alert whenever new software is installed based on Event IDs 11707 and 1033"
It does this, but it also catches false positives. Other events that are not software installs can also have Event ID 1033. The exact same scenario also happens for Event ID 1034, which is designed to notify of software uninstalls.
Examples:
Event Log: Application | Event Id: 1033
These policies are being excluded since they are only defined with override-only attribute.
Policy Names=(Security-SPP-Reserved-EnableNotificationMode)
App Id=REDACTED
Sku Id=REDACTED
[Machine Name: REDACTED]…

Information Security Risk
Support agents can access data in any user's machine without asking their permissions. It is a major information security risk and has been identified by data security auditor. I have raised requests earlier but they all have been ignored. Please get it fixed otherwise companies who are aware about information security will not recomend Atera. You can regenerate it by going to any Device >>> Manage >>> File Transfer. I would like to request all other community members to vote for it to get it fixed asap.

Hi Atera Team
Hi Team, We are using Atera RMM tool this month for our 1500 above machine software installation and security patch updates. whenever i pushed any software i want to track how many machines installed successfully and how many machines are failed. I need a report to extract by Excel and pdf to show the management by daily basis. I have checked in Report-recent process there is no option to extract any excel or pdf format. we need a machine list automation task report with valid reason to find why those machines are not installed . As well…

watchdog
The agent program would need to be equipped with a watchdog process. It typically breaks down regularly in an undersized environment on a memory weak client machine. If the program has not communicated for 1 day, restart it automatically.

Have the ability to add an alert based on registry settings
When we onboard new systems, we typically want to make sure certain items have been configured (such as the Remote Desktop port changed from the default settings of 3389). It would be nice if we could create an alert based on a value in the registry. That way we could check if the default port has been changed after a new machine has been set up or if it is still using the default port. An alert would be triggered if it didn't match the particular value and a ticket could be created.

Use feedback from scripts in threshold
I would like to build new thresholds, based on the feedback from scripts. This would require parsing the results from the scripts, comparing with standard texts, and picking out numbers that thresholds can be set for.
I think this would allow much more customization, especially for Macs and Linux devices that don't have as much standard functionality.
My current use case is this:
We have mostly Macs, and we require everybody to encrypt their disks. We can check each device by running a script (The "FileVault active check" from your standard library). If the disk is encrypted, it always returns…6 votes
