Print agent software inventory
We would like the ability to print the Software Inventory for one device individually.
This would save hours when onsite to replace a workstation to have a paper sheet to reference rather than dig through currently installed programs.
Current reports allow me to print all software installed for a client, but not selective to an individual workstation.

Editing Existing Cases
Please can you add the below feature to the Helpdesk - Editing an existing case.
We find ourselves updating incorrect cases, E.G – Case 2149 is assigned to Tech A but updates Case 2148 which is assigned to Tech B. Unfortunately, we cannot remove this update thus having to re-create both cases.1 vote -
Time sheet including in ticket communication so customers can view the work!
Time sheet should be in ticket for customer to read !!
Now the customer have to guess what kind of work we've done for them.
Or wait until we make a report. The actual work done should be in the ticket for the customer to read! Just as part of the conversation.4 votes -
Local Security Policy
Set Local Security Policy for workgrouped Windows PC's. Small offices with only a few workgroup computers may need to have local security policy setup for things like password complexity, password expiration, and screen savers to meet security compliance with larger organizations that they do business with. Perhaps a new option built into the IT Automation Policies of Atera could be to modify the Local Security Policy.

Invoice Should Display Full Customer Address
When you create a customer you fill in fields for Address, City, State, and Zip.
When you create an invoice it only pulls in the Address field, leaving out the City, State, and Zip.
This makes for an incomplete address on the invoice and looks unprofessional. The invoice template needs to be updated to include the full customer address.

Show previous calendar events as well as future ones on a ticket
When adding calendar events to a ticket, it would be helpful to also be able to see all past calendar events. Being able to set a default subject of the calendar event would also be helpful along with the customers name.

Edit/Adding category for invoice batch
If I create a new invoice batch, there are automatically some random categories that - why so ever - I can not edit/remove/create my own. So they are just there. Really random. I'd like to remove/edit them or at least create my own categories.
Thank you

Products Linked to Tickets On invoice
Products on invoices need to be linked to the ticket somehow. At the moment all the products for a cycle just get added to an invoice. However that means that I need to look through all the tickets in the cycle to find the product that I've added if I need to modify it.

White label customer support portal
Some of my customers have asked if there is a way to whitelist their portal access to their company - instead of showing my company. These clients are co-managed customers. It would just be less confusing for their end users. Along with this - the ability to setup the support@clientemailaddress.com as the address for them to submit trouble tickets - and it be attached to their customer / client profile - for ticket submission.

Software Whitelist and Blacklist
Instead of accidentally discovering unwanted applications on managed endpoints, I'd like to setup a system of rules that alert me when an application is installed. Not for any installation, but for specific ones that are driven by rules.
Since Atera is already keeping a list of all applications installed on all managed endpoints, I'd like to be able to review that list and add each program to either a whitelist or blacklist. In the future, if an application on the blacklist is detected on an endpoint, I'd like to be alerted and/or take action (preferably in the form of an automation policy to run a script or automatically uninstall the software after review).
There are many reasons for needing this - security is one, but I also need to be able to meet organizational policies for my clients. For instance, if I have a client that works for a government and cannot permit any software from a company that isn't US based to be installed, I'd like to be able to blacklist those programs that I know of (like non-US based antimalware programs).
I'm sure others have different use cases, but this would be really useful to me.

Scripting tool to open/manage/close ticket
Please add the ability to manage tickets from a script. For example: I want to check every single computer for something, Script launches, opens ticket, performs check, updates ticket with results, if results are good, add time, closes ticket. It s a record we could pull easily for the customer. On other RMM software there is powershell modules or other functions you can easily do this.

Ticket documentation // automatic knowledgebase
Current setup:
A user can raise a ticket which will be handled by the supporter.
When the problem is solved then the ticket will be closed.
The customer can view all old tickets from himself (except he is the main contact) through the customer portal.Problem:
Quite often you get tickets like "Word does not start". Then you perform your troubleshooting and guide the user to a problem which you already had 3 times before.
At some point in time you think about creating a knowledgebase article about it so the user can find it.
Knowledgebase article do have a quite high level of information as this is what customer expect and these are often generic.
Then you have to think of if the knowledgebase article is visible just for a single customer or for all of them.
Additional to that you have to make sure to hide e.g. personal data to not go into conflict with GDPR.Improvement:
It would be nice to give the support the chance to document a ticket when closing it.
Mandatory fields to fill out are the following:
- Problem description
- Solution
It would be nice if additional fields can be added like:
- symptoms
- affected component
- keywords
- ...
These additional fields should be configurable to either be mandatory or optional when documenting a ticket. When the supporter closes a ticket then he does have the following choice:
- no documentation
- documentation (only visible for supporter and not for customer)
- documentation (only visible for customer company)
- documentation (visible to all customer)Within the knowledgebase there should be a note that the article is being created from a ticket.
Benefit:
- the documentation is visible with each closed ticket. If you have to read an old ticket then you just have to read the documentation and not all comments.
- the documentation (problem description + solution + additional fields) can be made visible and searchable for the same company or all customer. This can reduce the ticket load.
- just by working on normal tickets the knowledgebase will increase over time automatically so the IT admin and the customer do benefit from it
- best would be if the knowledgebase will be searched automatically when a customer tries to create a new ticket (e.g. when typing the subject)Current setup:
