online status for Users on Users tab. Registered user next to computer name in Devices tab.
It would be really handy to show the User next to the computer in the device list. This would allow us to quickly see who is online rather than clicking on the computer and checing who the agent is registered to.
Also related to this, listing the agent registered to the user in the Users details panel on the Users page, also an online/offline indicator (Green/Red dot).
This would be so handy for us to quickly view online status of our homeworking users.

'select all' in the 'patch form'
I really miss the 'select all' in the 'patch form'. Moving the mouse all the way to the left top only to go back to the right bottom seems like an unnecessary motion.

Availability Monitoring (Customer wide)
Change to Availability Monitoring to become part of Alert Threshholds so that they be used customer/account wide easier
Alternatively: an API method to set it enabled/disabled,
or a param to use using install to automatically add agent to account and set Availability Monitoring to enabled per default for the device.27 votesNice! Patch Filtering
Reporting Criteria.........When doing patches, if you exclude patches, they still show up in the reportings as overdue/missing. Example: I do not patch automagically say HARDWARE updates. When you do a patch report, it looks horrible because it showing as MISSING, which it IS, but INTENTIONALLY. There needs to be a way to filter out for reporting purposes to see truly "what is missing".

Modify ticket description and keep timer running
To be able to edit the ticket description while working on the ticket without stopping the timer. Add a button that allows to continue working or stop timer that way if we are in the middle of something and don't want to forget what notes we want to put to the ticket we can enter the notes and continue working without worrying that we forgot a note. If we are done with the ticket we can always just click the stop button

Display a pop up message before and after an automation and patch task
Before a Scheduled Automation or patch task, we would like to have an option to send an automated message to let users know that this will be happening as well as another message to tell them that their computer will be restarted within X amount of time and let them postpone the restart up to 3 times.

Custom Fields Wishlist - Compiled from my ideas and others.
There are a lot of good ideas for the custom fields. But, I want to add my 2 cents also.
When filtering devices, we should be able to filter by custom field from the above level. i.e. devices should be able to be filtered by a custom field from the associated customer.
Add Custom field filtering to the customer level.
Need to add new custom field types: image, textarea, and hidden. I don't need to SEE all of the info on my customer or device screen. (make sure I can still edit it though)
It would be neat to have icon-like values. I am thinking red/green dot for on/off, gauges so if we use SNMP we can create a gauge for the black toner, similar to that
Remove/Change the Customer type (gold, silver, bronze) and all us to create "types" such as Fully Managed, Monitored, Remote only, etc. If you have more than 3 types, the 3 colors don't work.
Top level "Account" custom fields. For example, some software has 1 license key for everything. Let me set an account customer field to hold that key and allow me to access it via powershell.
I would like some of my customer fields to have default values. Allow us to set the default selected value.
It would be nice to be able to have an HTML field or an iframe type. For instance, I would love to integrate Harvest time app in my tickets and clients. This will allow me to embed javascript to track time in my preferred tool.

Knowledgebase by Customer
Create a knowledge base article and have the ability to assign specific articles to a customer or group of customers in your Atera Portal. Currently it looks like if you add an article and allow customers to access the portal they have access to all knowledge base articles.

Exclude patches by release date
I would love to have the ability to exclude patches by release date. Microsoft has been notorious for releasing patches before they are ready. I'd like to have a profile that installs only patches that have been available for a week or two.

General Sorting of Lists
We need to be able to sort all of the different lists that get created.
This request applies to all of the custom fields and fields that eventually generate interactive drop down lists. Examples include: Quick Reply Templates, Scripts, Product Families, and all custom fields.
Currently, if we need to make an addition to these fields, the new item goes to the bottom of the list and there's no easy way to modify it. If we want to customize the order they're in, or even just alphabetize them, we have to completely remove all of the items in the list and re-add them from scratch.
At bare minimum, there should be an option to sort alphabetically. But having the option to do drag and drop sorting would be even better.

Approve scripts before executing
Ability to approve scripts before they get executed. Hackers are exploiting RMM to install ransomware, having an approve button before a script runs could prevent mass ransomware deployment if our RMM ever gets compromised.

Ability to See Your Calendar In Atera
Ability to see your calendar within Atera where you can see all the tickets and meetings that you have already scheduled. No need to leave the platform for that.

Add PING, HTTP and SNMP Device without being a Full Admin
To allow a Technician to add an SNMP device they need "Full Admin" access.
This is not great as I don't want a technician to see billing information.
Can you give the right to add SNMP, HTTP, Generic checks so I can assign this right to an Technician.

Calendar Integration
The ability to change from which mailbox the calendar event is set. What is currently happening to us is that we have a shared mailbox and a technician specific mailbox, it is picking the technician specific mailbox as default when setting the event as that is the main mailbox on the technicians PC. We of course would like the shared mailbox to be used to set events.

invoice batch with timesheet report
Would like to have an timesheet report generated with the invoice Batch.
so on the invoice batch page, there would be an button with 'Edit & Delete & Timesheet'.The button should then download an PDF with the timesheet of that customer, With ticket rounding on totaltime and not what the normal timesheet report does with rounding per technician.
This would save so mucht time with te billing.

Custom report title
Option to label/title scheduled reports, so the generated email reflects which report <X> completed for customer <Y>.
That way the same report can be scheduled for multiple customers and can be easily differentiated.1 vote
