Monitoring Agent - Bulk Change
I need the option to do a bulk migration of devices to a different monitoring agent. I don't know why this is automatically chosen instead of being monitored by the original search agent in Network Discovery. It's very non-intuitive. When I go to delete a monitoring agent it says move all monitored agents. I have to click EACH AND EVERY device that is being monitored by this agent. It's painfully time consuming. I would also be better for the selected monitoring agent to be a server rather than some random PC that goes offline or might be removed. Or give me the option of selecting a new agent when I go to delete it and do the bulk move in the background.

Patch Automation Profiles - assign patching by the server not the whole client
Would like to select some but not all servers for patching, and set different time schedules for different servers for the same client which you cannot currently do - it's all or nothing and this does not work for many clients

automated tasks
It is possible to obtain information from the list of devices if one or more automated tasks encounter errors or were unable to execute during their scheduling due to the agent being offline. Additionally, it is feasible to check the status of all automated tasks by accessing the agent, which includes their successful executions with the most recent execution date, as well as any failures, etc. This feature has already been offered by N-able for some time. I believe this is crucial to enhance productivity, rather than just relying on generating reports.

Scripts should not need the API Key for custom fields
To obtain custom field data in an automated script, the API Key is required to be in the script in plain text.
The agent on the end point running the script should already have access to the custom fields in its own asset and parent customer records.
Please create a Atera Powershell module that can obtain custom field data without requiring the API Key.5 votes -
Screen Lock
Being able to enforce screen lock times in the portal and not by script would be a great way to ensure security and be able to view that status.

logon captcha to log into atera
adding the extra captcha to the log in is an extra pain, but understandable. Could you lower its requirements to not be case sensitive? I believe Microsoft captcha is not case sensitive. It just takes extra time especially on a laptop to log in.

Improved Hard Drive Monitoring
It is crucial that my company and I are able to monitor the health of our clients hard drives, and currently the only option is a S.M.A.R.T. alert, which doesn't seem to function in my experience. An improved version of this or a drive monitor script / display on the device dashboard would be perfect.

Add payment link on invoice
Add link to an invoice: For example, we'd like to attach a link to the invoice that will direct them to a third party where they can enter credit card or bank details to make the payment

Ticket automation based on relative date instead of fixed date/time.
When we receive a ticket we plan this for a technician to resolve, and then change the ticket status from "open" to "pending". (To keep a nice overview of open tickets that still need attention.)
We want to be able to change the ticket status back from pending to open again, when the planned date has expired, and the ticket still has the status "pending" instead of "resolved".
Now in the date selector we only have "fixed" dates, not "Tomorrow" or "Today" or "Yesterday" so there is no option to create an automation like this, only absolute dates, or after a certain number of hours are past.
But our ticket planning can be that we plan a ticket for tomorrow, or after seven days, or everything in between. So fixed date/time entries are not useful to us.
So say we plan a ticket for the 3rd of june, we want to change the ticket status back to "open" again when it is the 4rd of june and the ticket still has the status "pending", so that we can see somebody did not resolve this ticket on time and plan the next action accordingly.

Stream Monitoring
I have several large clients that stream real time video to events like Black Hat 2023 in Las Vegas. If you are unfamiliar with the event it has a virtual booth day on the last half of the ticket.
I have clients in remote location that will stream thier presentation directly to the company booth. They use software encoders to push the video to the booth server.
They run in to problems like Task Manager popping up while broadcasting. This wrecks the stream and they look embarrasing to thier clients. This has happened hundreds of times.
I manage thier packet delivery, VPN and stream timing. However I can not monitor thier other activities, triggers and events.
Atera will give me that feature. I know how to write scripts that can be triggered through the Atera platform. It would be great to have a simple button or menu item that would give me the customer real time packet delivery, network health and internet connection strength.
On that display a few control buttons that would immediately kill tasks, background programs, Skype, eMail and other tasks you do not want to pop up when you are streaming live.
I think this would be a value ad feature.

Axient Backup task reporting
Would be good to see reporting of axient backup intergrated to atera.
Job Status, Job Completion, Job Failure etc.If we could have the atera dashboard display this info and send alerts to technicians would be nice.

Have templates for newly created customer (folders, IT auto, Threshold profile, software installation)
When we add a new client, it would be nice to have templates for them so as soon as we select them, it creates the right folder, it assigns the right IT auto profile & threshold based on those folder. It send out the software bundles

Go to Device Directly by Clicking Name in Reports
Issue: Currently, when generating a report, such as a Software Inventory Report, users can see the names of devices and the versions of software they have installed. However, if they want to go to a specific device, they need to close out the report and navigate to the device manually.
Request: Add hyperlinks to the device names in reports so users can navigate directly to them.

Old UI Layout With The New Features
The old UI layout is the most efficient and most productive IMHO even compared to other ticketing systems. I don't have any issues with adding new capabilities and features but there should also be an option to have the old UI with the new features. Thanks!

Laptop Lockdown
With more users working remote, it would be nice to be able to lock a laptop so it cannot be used from the dash. Similar with what you can do with iPhones if it is lost or stolen. Once locked, we should be able to enter a password or remove lock from device dashboard.

Select multiple tickets after searching, this option is not available. Cleaning up the ticket queue is pain. The ticket queue is missing basic functions.

New Ticket description - able to set as internal note
When creating a new ticket in Atera (not via mail), have the ability to have the description field as an internal note.
This way our first line could give a detailed description when creating the ticket for our other lines to follow up without giving this info to the contact.

API Create Ticket from AgentID
You should be able to create a ticket via the API with only a Agent ID or name.
If I am running a script and want to create a ticket from the agent, we should be able to attach an agent and ignore the user field information.
The User information should be relatable from the agent in Atera automatically.1 vote
