  3. Automatic authentication of first time users of the Helpdesk Agent. I will get a lot of pushback when introducing the new ticketing process because users will have to register, receive a code via email and enter it into the agent's form. In an industrial environment, this is asking a lot. There should be a way to deploy the agent to all workstations and have Atera poll the domain controller (via LDAP?) so that it pulls the credentials automatically.

  4. It would be great to be able to search devices by Service Tag # or serial #. I would also love the ability to choose what information is shown for each device in the customer/device list view. Right now it's just Agent Name, last logged user, and a folder location if applicable. It would be great to be able to also display service tag/serial, computer model, public IP, etc.

  5. Atera's API already lets me create and delete folders, we have a project coming up where we're going to have to move all of a client's PCs based on their names, and it would be much easier if we could use the atera API to automate it.
    This could also help our deployment process, if we could use an API call to put a new PC into it's required folder immediately.

  6. Some technicians have very repetitive entries for routine tasks. It would be nice if they could create a labor entry template for one of those tasks and when adding time can select it from a drop down, edit if needed, and submit. It would save time and allowed for something that is routine to them but not to others be documented thoroughly the first time, and not have them have to type everything out the next time. (Or simply write 'followed process' so another tech doesn't know what exactly was done.) These templates would have default times associated with them…

  7. By default AnyDesk get pushed to all endpoints (including servers which have the Atera Agent installed). While this is nice for user Machines - it's less then ideal for servers... Give us the option to exclude machines from AnyDesk Deployment. Or better yet: let us choose on which machines (machine type) we want to install anydesk

  8. The ability to select IP's within a network discovery site (POE Cameras in this example), and create an alert that the IP has not communicated within a selectable amount of time, even if its a 24 hour window. Just something along those lines.

  13. We currently Run Mac, Windows and Linux. A way to pull the Filevault recovery key just like the bitlocker key would be useful when users are traveling and have an issue. You can not always ensure that they have a copy of their key laying around in case of damage that needs to be repaired before they can return home.

  15. It would be such a help to be able to disable the default tags that Atera comes with. I understand we can set up our own custom tags, but it would still be helpful to be able to remove the default tags to help with simplicity.

There needs to be an increase in the rate at which a given tab data refreshes, if you allow for customization of status ect then the changes of these become more important for specific techs workflows, the ability to set a refresh rate or just speed it up would improve tech performance greatly.

  18. It would be very useful if we would be able to select an asset when creating (or working on) a ticket.

    We want to use the assets feature to keep track of our customer's printers. If we also manage the pc/server/... we can install the Atera agent but that is not always an option, unfortunately. If we can attach assets to the tickets we can easily filter and keep track of the issues we've had to deal with.

  19. In our line of business and I'm sure many others I run PC's on my network that have no access to the outside world, there ran threw a NIC and Switch separate of the internet. I would like to see the ability to run a agent remotely via the main agent or even run scripts on remotely via that agent.

  20. When pulling a Timesheet Report, it would be most helpful to be able to pull the time dedicated to a certian Ticket Number. When we bill our Break/Fix clients, it is by the ticket number. Also, if our regular client has a certian ticket that they want billed to a specific PO or Payment Account, they request that single ticket separately. As it stands now, we must pull the PDF and edit through the PDF to include only one ticket. Having the ticket number in the filter would eliminate many admin hours.
