  3. we all now about what atera can do , nut the first thing i noticed or i can say i want it if its possible , imagine if all feature of atera was in a software to be installed , and run like jarvis - from iron man - or even like siri
    imagine if you just say hi atera whats my network condition , or what is my devices condition , it will replay in voice and saying this is your devices status ,...etc

  4. We need the ability to edit, delete, add our own ticket status, ticket priority, ticket impact, ticket type, and product family.

    For example, what if I wanted to place a ticket into pending materials, or pending third party.

    Then what if we wanted to pull a report of all tickets in said status? or view all tickets currently assigned to that status?

    What if we wanted to change the priority and link that to SLA timers. For example, low should be changed to Normal so that the end-users do not think their request/issue is of low priority?

  5. I propose an enhancement to Atera platform, specifically regarding the integration of new devices into the system. The key features of this proposal are as follows:

    Automatic Addition of Devices to Assets: Newly added devices should be automatically registered as assets within the system. This feature could be toggleable via an option in the admin panel, allowing for flexibility based on the customer's preference.

  6. I would like to propose a new feature that allows users to define the sequence of server restarts within a policy. Specifically, I would like to specify the order in which servers reboot, ensuring that the domain controller is brought online before other servers in the network.   7. often there are reports or popups like "monitored devices" of agents (example: if a device does do a generic check of an access point and so on) where you see lot's of devices which include an open link to them.
    then it would nice to have an option box "open in new ribbon". so if not ticked then clicking onto this should open in the same ribbon, but if ticket the device should open in a new ribbon.

  8. at the moment you can nowhere can see in the device view of an server/desktop agent if it is monitoring other devices like "generic".

    at the moment we swap a lof of virtual servers which monitor certain others things in the network. you finally see it if you want to delete an old, swapped server, then you get the note that there are devices monitored.

  9. like to build out a report/ dashboard that shows devices per organization or a full overview on hardware utilization. this would be looking at a set percentage over the course of 24 hours, weeks months just like the devices page for metrics. what the percentages would be in an example is CPU to 50%, RAM to 60%, Network 80%. etc. and can see a list of any of those devices that go above to show in the report/ dashboard and not as an alert but as a way to identify possible upgrades or attention that will be in need. i…

    I would like to submit a feature request for two additions to the client documentation section:

    1. IPAM (IP Address Management) — The ability to document and manage IP address allocations directly within a client's profile would be a significant improvement. This would allow MSPs to track used/available IPs, subnets, gateways, and device assignments without relying on external tools.

If the agent is not able to collect data from Windows Update to check the update status, or the agent is unable to download the updates (both due to network problems at the client, proxy settings as example), the agent will not see any new update, so the device is displayed as "up to date" in the dashboard.

    Please set an alert, when the agent is not able to pull windows update information or the updates itself, and why (you may have an exception which you could forward to the alert).

  12. The ability to assign a random wait time if you're running a script on many machines.

    For example, if I'm using a script to download and install some software, I don't want to have 400 machines all request for a download from a webserver and tax the traffic or get restricted.

When a technician creates a ticket for the customer, in the ticket view or when in the customer tab, under tickets-- any newly created tickets by the technician currently show in the GUI that the ticket was created by or "from" the customer which is inaccurate. Often we may see an issue on a network and open a ticket on the customer's behalf.   16. I have several large clients that stream real time video to events like Black Hat 2023 in Las Vegas. If you are unfamiliar with the event it has a virtual booth day on the last half of the ticket.

    I have clients in remote location that will stream thier presentation directly to the company booth. They use software encoders to push the video to the booth server.

    They run in to problems like Task Manager popping up while broadcasting. This wrecks the stream and they look embarrasing to thier clients. This has happened hundreds of times.

  17. Frequently, ALL of my installed agents (across the few customers I have) suddenly show up as offline. I was previously a Starlink customer, I now have fiber; this has happened with both providers. I'm aware of the recent Cloudflare outage; this has happened before the outage, so it's not that.

    Using the PowerShell script from https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/215955967-Troubleshoot-Atera-s-Windows-agent... nothing came up as wrong.

    HOWEVER, looking under Category: Atera Agent Version, it shows the following:
    AteraAgent.exe Version: 2.5.0.0
    AteraAgent.exe not found at C:\Program Files\ATERA Networks\AteraAgent\AteraAgent.exe

I have many systems that the Atera Agent Tray icon does not load for, even after manually adding: reg add "HKEYLOCALMACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run" /v AlphaHelpdeskAgent /t REG_SZ /d "C:\Program Files\Atera Networks\AteraAgent\Packages\AgentPackageTicketing\TicketingTray.exe" /f
