  1. Hello,

Is there any way to get notification for every hour for "Machine status unknown"?
The Atera notification "Machine status unknown - agent has not established communication within the expected interval." was sent only once per server. This should be sent every hour while the server is offline

    Regards,
    Valentinos Koutsoftis

  2. We would like a more advanced integration of Linux in Atera, specifically the ability for a Linux computer to retrieve SNMP information (like a Windows computer/server). Additionally, the integration of Splashtop on Linux is cumbersome and wastes a lot of time; it needs to be simplified. In our case, we use the RASPBERRY PI for controls, and being able to use the RASPBERRY as an SNMP listening device would be fantastic. Also, we cannot take control via Splashtop on this type of device. We need to be able to do that!

  4. Thank you for creating the Atera Agent for Linux. Please make it available for PRO subscribers as well. I understand that the MacOS Agent is restricted to the tier above PRO but the Linux Agent should be available to all tiers as it is already a feature supported by other RMMs on their 'low' tiers.

  7. the linux terminal display now:

    root@client-server:~$ cd /mnt
    root@client-server:~$

there's no indication of the working directory ^ and i'd like a display similar to this:

    root@client-server:~# cd /mnt
    root@client-server:/mnt#

this displays the working directory before i proceed with the next command ^

  10. Especially with the ability to verify the source of software, we should have the ability to replicate all the software on a device using Winget or chocolatey to a new machine. This would be great when users move to another machine and have specific / custom software requirements, we could just replicate their old software inventory.

  11. currently, linux agents do not provide any software inventory data. while basic hardware information and health stats are available, there is no visibility into installed packages or applications. this is essential for audits, compliance, and troubleshooting. please add software inventory support for linux devices—similar to what is available for windows and mac.

  12. The following page on the Atera website claims, "You can use AnyDesk on your Windows, Mac OS, or Linux device to connect to all your customer devices."

    https://support.atera.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019885839-AnyDesk-remote-access

However, the only available client for Linux is AnyDesk and it doesn't work. I contacted Atera Tech Support about this and was told:

"We would like to bring to your attention that for the time being, our official support for AnyDesk is primarily focused on Windows and MacOS operating systems.", and, "Indeed, the documentation will be also reviewed and updated."

  13. Atera shows software as having been uninstalled from an offline machines in the recent process report, when in fact it has not yet been done. This is not very helpful information.

Also can you please have it show the time it was actually executed when the machine comes back online as this is very important too.

  14. I am finding a need for a built in virtual display adapter/driver with the Atera agent that can be utilized by any remote tool for headless machines or machines with their monitors turned off.

This would be especially helpful in many scenarios and avoid on site support or alterations to enable remote capabilities.

  18. Storage and inode usage can differ so it must be tracked. High inode usage could result in services crashing or freezing.

  20. Within Atera it asks that we define the business Public IP. What would be nice is to view if a user is working at the office or remotely when looking at devices under the customer name.
One could have a simple reference point to the Public IP that is defined and display a "true statement" if the user is at the office or remotely.
