  1. option to stay logged into mobile app. Our devices already have strong security in order to unlock the screen.

  2. It's unfortunate that "Folders" are not sorted under relations. Without the folders being sorted, it's difficult to check whether a folder name exists. Sometimes you might miss the fact that a folder name already exists, and you might create a new folder. With out the folder name being sorted (under relations), the folder function becomes rather useless.

  3. Like "Availability Monitoring" but with No Notifications.

    Just a simple Widget like Availability Monitoring that shows how many computers are online and how many computers are offline including if it is a Server, PC, Mac, Linux exactly the same widget, Just no Notifications.

  4. To access the Atera Knowledge base a user must make an account which they will not do. And as a technician I can't just share the Knowledge base article link with the user via the Ticket itself either. This makes the Knowledge base only useful to the technicians and not the users.

  7. The current Network Bandwidth threshold provides little value.

    It would be better if there was a Network Interface (Utilization) Alert. Knowing if a device is downloading or uploading large amounts of data could be a red flag and worth investigating.

    Create a customize alert for monitoring the Network Interface on a device to trigger an alert based on the total amount of data being sent (upload) or received (download) during a specific duration of time.

  9. Please give us the ability to create more levels in the knowledge base than categories/sections/articles.

  10. Having the ability for the user to use their camera on their phone to the technicians the issue they are facing is vital. I know Verizon had something like that where they send you a link and upon clicking it it allows you to share your camera feed like facetime with the technician.

    If Atera had this, it would be an absolute game changer. Sometimes when we are troubleshooting the devices are down or inaccessible and having the ability to see what the users are doing and verifying their steps/actions is important. So some sort of action where we can…

Have SNMP OID's and MBP's available for common types of hardware detected via SNMP, like for popular printer models, as well as switches, routers, NAS, and other popular devices where we can have the OID's pre-populated, as opposed to being forced to Google for OID's and typing them in manually.

  12. Comet Backup integration. Low cost, flexible billing per feature per device. Many cloud storage integrations as well as local storage. Ability to have cloud hosted or self-hosted for those who have their own storage infrastructure and need better control and compliance. Well rounded api. We've been using it for a few years now for our msp clients and it works well in our self-hosted cloud infrastructure.

  15. This terminology needs improving
    Retired devices should be renamed to "Infrequent Devices" and in general settings moved to section called reporting rather than agent settings and described as the "Infrequent devices threshold".
    Just because a machine has not been switched on recently, does not mean it is retired! - it could be a laptop that is only used twice a year as a standby, but just should be excluded from certain patch compliance reports etc.

  16. When we reset a device in the company, for a new employee. Atera is reinstalled as a completely new device. Can you make it that when A new device is enrolled with the same serial number as a current device in the system. The old device is deleted, or prompted to be deleted. At the moment, you have to do it all manually and have multiple devices with the same serial number (the same physical device)

  17. For the customer that uses WFH, if the computer is offline, it doesn’t tell him that it is turned off. It would be nice to show the user the status and also being able to connect it (wake on lan)

  18. Please include a dashboard tab in the mobile app. I have no way to monitor everything from a tablet on my desk. I would like to be able to see everything and not choose ALerts or Tickets. TY!

  19. It would be great to be able to manage Microsoft 365 users directly from Atera. Doing things like Password Resets, Create new users, Adjust / Add licenses, Email forwarding etc, instead of having to login to each customers Admin portal everytime. This can become extremely time consuming.
