  1. When adding devices for monitoring we sometimes add 10-20 of the same device type. It would be ideal if we could bulk-create these devices.

  2. Please give us the ability to create more levels in the knowledge base than categories/sections/articles.

    It's difficult to structure a whole company's knowledge base with just these 3 levels.

  3. Having the ability for the user to use their camera on their phone to the technicians the issue they are facing is vital. I know Verizon had something like that where they send you a link and upon clicking it it allows you to share your camera feed like facetime with the technician.

    If Atera had this, it would be an absolute game changer. Sometimes when we are troubleshooting the devices are down or inaccessible and having the ability to see what the users are doing and verifying their steps/actions is important. So some sort of action where we can…

Have SNMP OID's and MBP's available for common types of hardware detected via SNMP, like for popular printer models, as well as switches, routers, NAS, and other popular devices where we can have the OID's pre-populated, as opposed to being forced to Google for OID's and typing them in manually.

  5. Comet Backup integration. Low cost, flexible billing per feature per device. Many cloud storage integrations as well as local storage. Ability to have cloud hosted or self-hosted for those who have their own storage infrastructure and need better control and compliance. Well rounded api. We've been using it for a few years now for our msp clients and it works well in our self-hosted cloud infrastructure.

  8. This terminology needs improving
    Retired devices should be renamed to "Infrequent Devices" and in general settings moved to section called reporting rather than agent settings and described as the "Infrequent devices threshold".
    Just because a machine has not been switched on recently, does not mean it is retired! - it could be a laptop that is only used twice a year as a standby, but just should be excluded from certain patch compliance reports etc.

  9. When we reset a device in the company, for a new employee. Atera is reinstalled as a completely new device. Can you make it that when A new device is enrolled with the same serial number as a current device in the system. The old device is deleted, or prompted to be deleted. At the moment, you have to do it all manually and have multiple devices with the same serial number (the same physical device)

  10. For the customer that uses WFH, if the computer is offline, it doesn’t tell him that it is turned off. It would be nice to show the user the status and also being able to connect it (wake on lan)

  11. Please include a dashboard tab in the mobile app. I have no way to monitor everything from a tablet on my desk. I would like to be able to see everything and not choose ALerts or Tickets. TY!

  12. It would be great to be able to manage Microsoft 365 users directly from Atera. Doing things like Password Resets, Create new users, Adjust / Add licenses, Email forwarding etc, instead of having to login to each customers Admin portal everytime. This can become extremely time consuming.

  13. Allow to exec operation with multiple OID, for example synology nas only return OID of total space and used space, if is possible to calculate ( free space / total space ) to monitor the % of free space

  14. It is critical that when I search my device list, it includes the Notes field for each device. I put relevant notes about where the device is or who is using it in that field. My device naming convention is random and ordinal making it confusing if I don't read/have the notes.

  15. We should be able to add (and sort) our custom asset fields in the list.
    There is a lot of data there, and having to open each item is not a good way of managing these assets.

    We should be able to add the custom fields as columns and to be able to sort them.

  16. Ability to detect if a device alarm has already created a ticket and then add to it and not open a new ticket.

    currently atera creates a ticket from an alarm. If the ticket is not closed and the alarm is retriggered, a new ticket is created. I would like Atera to recognize this and add the alarm to the existing ticket rather than creating a new ticket.

  17. The search bar within Assets only works to search based on the fields visible on the Assets page, such as Name Values, Asset Type, Folder, User at the moment.
    It should also work with other custom fields too (For example Serial number, Warranty End date etc....

    How nice would be if Atera will fix the search Feature and will expand the search filter to all others fields too under Assets section.

    I also contacted Atera support team and they confirmed about this issue and suggested me to vote here.

  18. Add our customer's logo on the Customer portal. Right now we only have the option of adding ours and that's it. We want each of our customers to have their own logo on their portal
