Improved Device Dashboard
This is totally open ended. What features and functionalities should we add here?
Thanks to you, Atera is better today than it was yesterday! The feature you requested has been implemented and released!

Two big thing has been missed in the new view is Advanced filter and filter by Custom fields.
Not sure where Atera is going in terms of custom fields. Global search can't search for custom fields.
At this point New Advanced reporting doesn't have ability to add Custom Fields.
And now devices view has lost custom field.
I like the new device list, specially all the white space savings. Another thing with Atera could improve is list of devices that as loaded. It only loads 20 devices at a time and if you need to take any action on more than 20 devices then you need to scroll till the end. It will be nice to have a drop down box, with the ability to select, 10, 50, 100, All.I'm sorry but I had to switch back to the old view since I used Advanced filters a lot of times. Example find machines which has certain program installed or missing.

The new dashboard look is crap. Its too small for wall monitors and has completely broken our workflows. We plan on issuing reading glasses to our employees so they can see the ticket counts as they walk by. Increase the font sizes and graphics sizes so people with normal 20/20 vision can see the dashboard at distances greater than 2 1/2 inches.

We would like to change from Datto RMM to Athera, but one critical option is a customizable pivot-table style device list within the customer view. In Datto RMM I have a one line per device view, and I can add, remove and sort all items from the detailed view. So I can sort my devices by BIOS date, OS version, external / internal IP address, device name, agent installation date and so on. And common filters can be applied with checkboxes. It is really critical for the administration of customers with 100+ devices that I can visualize all devices on one page and scroll through it with the touchpad.

We need the ability to sort on any given field listed under devices.

A view of attached devices like external monitors, printers, docking stations etc
If make, model and serial number can also be included that would be awesome! -

You have a way to quickly search for Customers in that screen, but not one to search for devices in the devices screen. Yes, I know a person can use filters, but a quick name search would be nice.

Can we export the device list based on the filter result?

Devices in a subtree under customers, instead of individual devices listed.

I second this:
An icon of sorts which depicts: Webroot installed, Backup inplace, Reboot summing up, next script/task coming up etc.
A bit more about actual state and deployed features.

I was thinking this same thing why cut the list short on the customer page under devices, why not be able to see them all on one page?
List items per page customization. I can now only see 10 devices. Why not 20, 50, ...? And a nice compact view would come in handy too to get a quick overview

- Search for device by name and other fields
- customizable and sortable columns in the device view (actually for all views columns should be customizable and sortable)
- online offline status as well
- being able to add colours per customer or by machine type would be a bonus. -

Scheduling a script run right at the device (or even inside a ticket where you could pick the device!) would be ideal, with users in meetings frequently we could schedule patch removals or other items requiring a reboot for post meeting or known free/available time - it would be ideal as well to get an automated ticket update saying it had run and completed or failed

The ability to sort by "online" Offline" agent is a must!!!

When you click on devices you should see a list of companies. Then you click on the company, you should see the groups of devices. Showing all devices across all customers is just too unorganized and having to set filters is too time consuming.

I have a list here:
1. the ability to customize the device list to show columns of interest (boot time, IP address, Name, Vendor, etc...)
2. The ability to sort on each column by simply clicking the column header.
3. The ability to filter the rows by simply clicking the column header and selecting one or more values present in that field.
4. Show if there is an existing user desktop session and if it is (active, idle, etc...)For tickets and alerts:
1. Same thing as above in terms of columns, sorting and filtering.
2. Display the actual creating and modification time of tickets and alerts. (17 hours ago doesn't really mean much...)
