  1. Attach executable files to script:
One big thing that is missing is the ability to attach executable files to scripts so that custom software can be installed. Similar to Kace, and I think NinjaRMM has similar functionality. I find the chocolatey feature to be of little use since it appears to use the public repo. Chocolatey doesn’t recommend using the public repo for production use.

  3. More extensive notes:
I cannot see anyway to write general notes about a customer besides a one line note.

  4. Alert schedule profile

Create Schedule profile that can be imposed on specific Alert or Threshold profile
When alert should be active or not .
( we have many sites on Generators with no continuous electricity 7X24 or sites / networks/equipment that is down for nights/weekends/holidays )

Scheduled profiles can be used for other needs in the app other then Alerts

  5. I would very much like to setup dependent alerts. In one scenario I might have a WAN device setup as a primary monitor for a site, and all agents (Windows, Mac, TCP, SNMP, HTTP, and Generic) devices that are under that (ie: on the same network) would be dependent on that primary monitor.

This way, when internet connectivity is lost I don't get flooded with alerts from all monitored devices when they're offline or can't be reached.

  6. Monitoring metrics like latency, data jitter, and round-trip time (RTT) are very common in other monitoring solutions. It would be great if Atera added these metrics to TCP, HTTP, and Generic devices for much needed insight.

Additional metrics that would be extremely useful for monitoring WANs are bandwidth capacity and bandwidth consumption.

  7. Right now I can only see about a week of monitoring history for TCP, HTTP, SNMP, and Generic devices. I'd really like to see more data than that - at least enough to see trends over the course of a year or two. I'd also like to be able to report on this info.

  10. Some of my customers are using WFH to connect to their computers. They have to validate by entering a code received by sms on a mobile. When several users have to use WFH, it's difficult to use the code because the mobile phone is not present. It would be eaiser if the code could be sent to an email address instead of a phone nr. Thanks for your attention.

  11. If a device is lost or stolen or taken for a period of time, but will be returned at a later stage, there should be the option to lock out users until it is returned

  12. It would be nice to have the agent ID of computers displayed on the device page. We use the API a lot at our office and having this number easily accessible would make running PowerShell scripts on certain machines easier.

  14. Allow tagging of devices to better organize and apply automations rather than manual Folder assignments.

Tags should be able to be applied both manually and dynamically by rules (.i.e newly added, os version, laptop/desktop/server, days from last boot)

  15. Customer URL setting for work From Home.

Allow Admin to create the custom URL based not the client name to enable the more User friendly name of remote URL instead of long random string.

    Example - https://support.abc.com/workformhome/companyname

ABC is the admin support sites.
Company name which we can create based on the customization.

  16. It would be nice if you could change rights for technicians by feature.
Currently there are only a hand full of options to change the rights.

For example one of our technicians wants to create a software-bundle.
It is possible for him but if he wants to edit his self created bundle he can't do that and needs help from a Admin.

There are only 2 options like no Software-bundle or full Admin.

  17. There are a few missing features from the classic UI that makes the New UI much harder to use:

    • Unassigned being red in the Tickets page. Just adding that splash of colour makes it really easy to identify which ones are unassigned or not.

    • Ticket page icons. In the classic system you can easily identify where the ticket originated from with the envelope / phone icons. It adds a bit of context when looking at a ticket to see if someone has already spoken to the requestor, or if it it's an untouched email, so we can respond quickly.

    • Autorefresh.…

  20. Enable the ability to record Splashtop session. Splashtop already has it but Atera version that employees use, doesn't show the ability to record.
