Simple update- would love to see an option to tweak the Machine Status Unknown
time threshold.I'm not so sure on what the threshold is set to currently however, it's too short as this is 90% of our alerts yet the computers are always resolved on their own the next day.

We recently switched to Atera’s New Interface. We are enjoying most of the new features, however I noticed that the Customers screen no longer has the alphabetical letters at the top of the screen. Now it is an alphabetical list that we scroll through. This scrolling is especially cumbersome using the mobile app. We have 40+ customers so this is a pretty long list.

API: Connect Contact to Asset
When we look at the Agent via the API, it does not reference the contact at all. If there is one assigned, can we have the contactID returned in the results?

Remotely connect to an agentless SNMP device
I can't find the ability to connect to an SNMP agentless device thru its own management interface (like http or telnet).
I suggest: 1 promote a remote agent as a "gateway node" 2 in rmm web interface assign SNMP device to this remote agent becomed gateway 3 in rmm web interface on SNMP device configure the management port number and type (for example 80 http) 4 a connect button appears on SNMP device in rmm 5 clicking the button it opens a piece of software on my pc that opens an http tunnel between remote SNMP device and my local…17 votes -
Add a report to find duplicate machines based on serial number or Mac address
Add a report to find duplicate machines based on serial number or Mac address and offer to delete or merge them (Useful when someone has rebuilt a machine with a different name and has forgotten to remove the old one from Atera)

Patching: device off error
Patching: Would be nice to have a clearer message for when the device is off. When the device is off, they have an error message but it is not very clear, it doesn’t tell us that’s its because its offline. Would be nice to have a better error. Would be nice to then tell the enduser that this is why it didn't work and gives him two solutions: if its offline, then give him the possibility of turning on the computer via wake on lan.

Reporting for Patch Management
Patch reporting needs to tell you which machines are missing which patch, at present, it just says that so many machines are missing this patch which is not helpful to us or the end customer :O

Ticketing Task Manager
For example let’s say you have a large project that exists as a ticket such as updating a hosted application. This would include several tasks such as updating the application on the server and then updating the client application at your business locations across the country.
Atera could have a ticket that will act as a parent (For this example it will generically be called Update Application)
Update Application could be assigned to a manager so they can monitor the ticket and create the child tickets update server, update computers at HQ, update computers at branch 1, update computers at…9 votes -

Work From Home: error said verification expired, but endpoing was offline
One of our users was recieving the following error when attempting to log into their office computer from home with Atera - Work From Home.
"Verification expired/mismatched, please try again"
The actual problem ended up being that the office computer was off[line]. Is it possible for there to be an exception to catch the computer offline or to change the message if that's the exception? The error is misleading and led to unnecessary troubleshooting that could have been avoided had the actual cause of the error been accurate?

BrightGauge Intergration would be very helpful. It will allow CEO's and CISO's to see how their IT department is performing. Also we will be able to create custom report and gauges per customer to fit their needs.

Knowledge Base
Please add the ability to have any level of the knowledge base be accessed by an organization or contact. I have a client that owns multiple businesses that I support. It would be nice to have the GM be able to access the ISP info from each Business, but not have the whole organization have access to it. If that makes sense!

Remote Access Loopback to Remote Desktop with Autologin with stored Creds
Other RMM/PSA's have the ability to 'remote desktop' in to the machine via a loopback from its remote control app, AND logs in with stored admin credentials. This let's technicians login as admin without needing to know the admin creds.
The same Atera competitor even cycles the admin password automaticly after x time, Making credential security even higher
