automatic technician response
It would be nice to have an option for automatically switching a technician to the current profile in responding to a ticket. For example, we have automation that sets the default technician for all incoming tickets.
When another team member is responding to a ticket they have to remember to manually assign the technician to themselves before responding or it appears to the end user that the default technician is still responding. Having an option to override that and respond as yourself would be great. I hope that makes sense.

Reports not fully translated in French
Auditor report is not not entirely translated. All reports that are sent to our clients needs to be translated. For us, its okay but if we send it to customers it needs to be properly translated.

Automatically change rate according to time of day ticket is opened
According to the time of day the ticket is opened, could that automatically choose a billing date from the contract? If job is done after 5 PM, will it be possible to have a specific rate. I know I can manually change it but it would be nice to have it automatically

Easily paste the MID for SNMP
SNMP: we didn’t continue using it because we had to set the MIBs for each point. I can’t just paste the MID. I still have to create the monitoring points manually. I can’t add odd all of them. If it would paste the link, the monitoring would download. All the providers those links so it would be much easier

Add 'last technician note' as a snippet for email templates
Add a snippet so we can make the last technician note or last reply from technician appear on the ticket resolved email.
This is useful to put all the information in one place and allows us to send resolution details to a primary contact via email if needed.

With the Active Directory Sync. We load in the system with a bunch of false users. It creates a real mess in the contact list. Deleting them one by one is very long with customers that have thousands of users it become very difficult to manage this.
Having a way to bulk select users and delete them. Or having an API that can bulk delete based on criteria of email, names, etc.3 votes -
Software Uninstall - No Restart!
I've posted about this before (can't remember where), but I feel like this should be a public service announcement now.
If you uninstall an app using Atera's built-in feature in Software Inventory, and the app requests a restart, Atera WILL NOT SUPPRESS THE RESTART.
The feature is there so I keep using it, not remembering that each time I do I get burned for it. Please either fix this so Atera suppresses reboots like it should, or allow me to block that option so I can't use it.
The software uninstall feature is not ready for production without sane defaults and/or additional configurable items.

Report for total number of patches applied
I would like to simply be able to see the total number of patches that were applied to a customer over a specified period of time. This number would be used for monthly reporting to customers to show value.

Hide disabled Remote Access
It would be nice if the disabled Remote Access tools would be hidden for all technicians. We only use Splashtop and Teamviewer, but the list always shows all the available tools, even if disabled.

Easier way to add time to tickets
The current process for adding time to tickets is not very efficient.
- The automatic timer model doesn’t work very well for in-house IT Departments as we often have people coming into our office asking for help or stopping us in the hallways asking for help so the automatic timer setting doesn’t work as time gets skewed.
- The process for adding manual time is slow as we have to click on the Add time button, wait for the page to load and then add time in an annoying format of HH:MM:SS.
- A faster solution would be to have a drop down time menu on the Ticket Properties section. It would say “Time Spent” with a drop down menu with options of 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hour. As you select a time it adds the time to the total time on the ticket. So in theory someone could come into the ticket make some updates and quickly add 15 mins, switch to another ticket while waiting for the customer to respond, come back to the original ticket and finish things up and then quickly add another 5 mins to the ticket. The ticket would then have a total time of 20 minutes on it.

Better alerts for newly installed programs
Get an alert for newly installed programs not based on the events that are built in which give you alerts if programs updates.
