  1. From what I understand from the Helpdesk I just spoke to when a automated task such as sfc /scannow or dism commands occurs or even other tasks that require a system that does not need a restart the following applies.
    1. Offline devices will try to perform the task when they start>>which is fine
    2. Online devices that fail for example due to "pending other operations described above say needs a restart for updates" the task will fail and NOT try again.

    Would it not be better to have the option on automated tasks to have a tick box for…

  2. We should be able to Customize the Right Click Menu of the helpdesk agent. Other RMM solutions support this feature and Atera should as well. This can be make or break for a lot of MSPs

  3. View only license: license for our accountant, sometimes they check what we have in the system is the same. We give them one of our user for that day and then we cannot work. Would be nice to have a view only license

  4. While using the new UI, pressing on various drop-down menus such as 'Select a Quick Reply Templet', 'Help Desk Topic', and 'Category' do not allow for the full text field to be displayed. For example, on 'Select a Quick Reply Template', when the template name is over 21 characters long, it just adds "..." and you cannot read the full title of the template. Therefore, when selecting, you cannot distinguish similar named templates from one another.

    My personal suggestion for a resolution to this problem could be something as simple as adding in a resizing handle to the drop-down menu…

  6. Data Portability needs to be prioritized. The Knowledge Base needs to have the ability to bulk export all the knowledge articles we create. I can't trust using a service if there isn't an easy way to get our data out when needed.

  7. It would be a nice feature to have reports scheduled to be emailed out and attach an exported Excel copy of said report defined by parameters.

    For example a timesheet report between the 26th of the previous month to the 25th of the current month exported as and Excel spreadsheet and then emailed to desired recipient.

  8. it would be beneficial to be able to schedule IT Automation to run every 5,10,15.. minutes. Right now the best is once a day. If you need it to run more often like every 5 minutes you need to create hundreds of schedules.

  9. We do monitor a lot of network devices by one server in each customer network. When that hardware will be replaced we have to move the monitored devices onto the new hardware server/agent. it would be very handy to move all monitored devices via bulk from on server to another one... and not one by one...

  10. Hi, I need to assign different agents to the same contact but I can't find how to do it. Let's imagine a scenario in which a specific contact has an Apple computer, a windows desktop computer and a windows notebook. Currently the tool only allows you to connect a user to only a computer.

  13. Currently with S.M.A.R.T. reports, all it includes in the model number of the drive as the only identifier. I'd like to see some other unique identifier such as the Drive Bay or the Serial Number included as well. For instance, I had a client with two drives of the same model and was unable to differentiate which drive was generating the report. This would prevent unnecessary work for my team, myself, and anybody else with similar situations.

  14. It took myself and support (even including escalations) far too long to figure out that if an SNMP device has device availability turned off, it will not trigger alerts at all even if the monitored OID rules have been met.

    The monitored OIDs should always be functional and alerts generated, even if device availability monitoring is turned off. For instance, I do not need an alert when someone turns the printer off, but I do need an alert if it is low on toner.

  15. Would it be possible to display the Atera Agent version in the device details in the top grey box. Have some sort of traffic light system for Up to date / needs updating (Minor update) / Out of date (Immediately needs updating) , An upgrade button next to it would be really helpful.

    A system report for this would also be helpful, but is not as essential.

    This has been flagged due to a large number of older clients on 1.8.0.3 going offline in January as the updates have not been applied and the security parameters/support having been changed.

  18. Make Regedit screen larger. When going deep into Regedit, you can no longer see or read the columns you are working on, the window is not adjustable either. Please make the screen larger or scalable, or even add a scroll bar would help.

  19. Advanced Filters has option for "contains". It would be nice if we were able to put in a list of items instead of only one item.

    Example: Identify Old Processors with i5-3 to i5-7.
    5 seperate "contains" filters seperated by "or" operator

    Idealy:
    One "contains" with "i5-3, i5-4, i5-5, i5-6, i5-7"

    This would make advanced filtering much more powerful! We are currently limited to only 5 "or" Operations.
