  1. When we reset a device in the company, for a new employee. Atera is reinstalled as a completely new device. Can you make it that when A new device is enrolled with the same serial number as a current device in the system. The old device is deleted, or prompted to be deleted. At the moment, you have to do it all manually and have multiple devices with the same serial number (the same physical device)

  2. Make it possible to add to the "full client name" an abbreviation or a kind of company ID code. We have this in other systems (documentation in IT portal for example) and are quite used to search for "WH" instead of "Westinghouse" etc.

  3. We have been seeing some computers recently hit 100% disk activity and stay that way for several minutes. Occasional spikes may not be a problem, but when a computer hits 100% disk activity and stay that way for a while, we want to be alerted.

    The current settings do have the percentage, but having a time frame like the other alerts would make this trigger actually usable. As it is, we had to turn it off because too many little spikes were triggering alerts that we have to manually remove. Being able to set the threshold to something like disk…

  5. Nothing privacy breaking or intrusive but the ability to see where and when a user logged in and when they logged out showing some basic level of activity. If you have to do forensics or look for trouble on all users computers this would be really helpful. Also if you have to prove for some reason a person was logged in you can run a report.

  6. I love that Atera has customizable email templates - we've built out a good collection of these already for various responses that our users will get from Atera in their inboxes.

    One very lacking email capability however is there is no ability to modify the template for the forgot password process.

    As it stands, this current stock template has 3 of the "red flags" that we train our users against in our Security Awareness Training, due to how it's worded and how links are presented.

    Could we please have the ability to modify this email template as well?

  7. It would be great to be able to manage Microsoft 365 users directly from Atera. Doing things like Password Resets, Create new users, Adjust / Add licenses, Email forwarding etc, instead of having to login to each customers Admin portal everytime. This can become extremely time consuming.

  9. Enable Availability Monitoring on newly installed agents since workstations need to be manually enabled. This would make it easier to have agents be monitored when adding new ones so they are not forgotten

    We find that servers do not have a "Threshold Profile".

    From my exchange with support, there is no solution to list servers without a profile or with a specific profile like "None" or whatever.

    Can you add this function please.

  12. As a company, we have different departments that have different purposes. On the MSP side, having an RMM software like Atera is 100% critical, however it is hard to convince the higher-ups to pay for such a software when it overlaps so heavily with the CRM softwares like Salesforce. Instead of having the softwares overlap, have the softwares integrate. CRM, specifically Salesforce, integration with Atera would turn the conversation from "use Atera INSTEAD of the software you've been using for years for 90% of the company" to "use Atera ALONGSIDE Salesforce".

  14. Ticket automation rules for time base conditions:

    Rule 1:
    For Open status tickets, existing or new - 3 day no comment or update - either internal comment or public reply, send an email.

    Rule 2
    For 15 day Pending status ticket no comment – For tickets that have been in in pending state for 15 days and haven’t had a internal comment or public reply send an email.

    Rule 3
    Pending 12 day reminder for the 15 day no comment or update. So the same as Rule 2 but at 12 days which send an email to the technician who…

  16. I would be nice to be able to keep any tickets from a closed customer.
    Actually, closing a customer mean to delete any datas (computers but also tickets).
    But any tickets is important for the records.

  17. The option to have a checkbox in the time entry window to check if a time entry is done on the customersite.

    Right now, the only way to have a time entry be checked as on customersite is by creating a time entry with the mobile app.

    But as soon as it is edited with my workstation trough the webapp it will be unchecked from on customer site.

    Best way is to just be able no matter the app or platform to check a box to mark the time entry as being done on the customer site or not.

  18. Retry for scripts: Option to retry on first fail. If I send an ad-hoc script run on an offline agents and it fails, I have to re-run it again. Run it up to 3 times before notifying it. I just go to the recent process and I see which agents have failed and make a note of it.

  20. The default being the Mem & CPU that's currently shown.
    In the drop down you would have Temperature, which might shows the line graph for CPU temperature, HD Temperature. Another option in the dropdown would would graph maybe disk usage or something.
