  1. Currently search returns;
    Tickets, Agents, Contacts
    This means the top area is cluttered with tickets (including closed tickets) if all i wan is a contact.

    A better order would be
    Contacts, Agents, Tickets

  2. I shouldn't have to set search options eveyr time I search for a user. Either make search options sticky, or offer search types (like there are list types) - search agents, search tickets etc.

  3. Allow a technician or requestor to post a comment that both can see, but no email is generated. This allows for information to be tracked that should not be in an email, but both parties need to see it.

  4. scheduled reports are hard coded to email the email address associated with the technician, if the reports are more for admin purposes, we need to email those reports to whatever email address we need and not be limited to the email accounts associated with the technician.

  5. When a person is CC'ed on ticket, and they respond, show in the email that is responded by the CC, not by the main on the ticket.

I like the feature present in Spiceworks that sends a weekly report about what's new on the network in form of a resumee sent by email about newly installed software on machines (very useful and sometimes alerting), multiple instances of antiviruses on the same machine, antions needed on some network devices (eg printers).
    (I'm unsure if it's already present in Atera)

  8. Lock or freeze the ticket buttons at top of the ticket window.

    When working with a long-standing ticket, a lot of scrolling is required to read the conversation history. It would be very help to then not have to scroll back to the top of the window to navigate to the agent or add a reply or note to the ticket.

    If the six buttons at the top of the ticket window were locked in place, or in a banner at the top of the page, it would make navigation much easier.

  9. Inconsistent UI implementation of the new Run Script pop up. A long while back you improved the layout of the Run Script pop up to the new non-paginated version, sadly this has not been implemented in places like the Agent screen and the Customer Devices screen which have been left stuck on the old UI for over a year now.
    This means you only get 4 scripts per page instead of 6+
    Please complete the job and Implement the improved Run Script pop up in all areas of the new UI

UI for the alert: Scenario: You can only see the first few characters of each alert, this frustratingly means that you have to keep clicking on the expand arrows for each alert to see the actual details. Yet there is no need for an expand arrow – as you could easily fit all the alert text on the screen at all times! Look at this example below and then you would have space to fit in the missing connect button too!

  11. The alert screen does not update correctly and shows out of date info. Scenario: You leave it on the alerts screen and return to it a bit later – old alerts are still showing that have already been cleared and the count is wrong as shown above “Displaying 18 of 13 alerts”
    Not a lot of help when your RMM system can’t even give you the right up to date information!

  12. You cannot assign directly a newly created threshold profile after creation. Scenario: You have just created a new threshold profile and click the applied to link to try and apply it to something but you can't.

  15. I am using some backup products like Veeam and Microsoft Data Protection Manager by using Wasabi as backend storage. Wasabi is insanely cheap, with prices of 6 USD per 1 TB of data.

    It would be very nice to have some sort of backups capabilities using the Atera agent or other integrations, and use Wasabi for its price as backend. Nowadays a good backup which is encrypted and protected is the ONLY real solution against ransomware.

  16. Automated rules based on things like below

    • device type - Server / Laptop / Desktop
    • OS Type
    • OS Version
    • etc.

    This would then allow us to setup automation rules for newly installed agents or publish IT Automation based on criteria like so

    If "computer os" is "windows 10" then install these applications

    this automates the ability to install AV / Applications / etc. when a new agent comes online for a customer

    this in turn allows for an agent to be installed onto a computer which will then automate chocolaty to install

    we would also need options to install webroot…

  17. Hi,

    It would be helpful to have an option to delay the reply to a ticket. So that you can compose the reply but set it to send at time /date of your choosing. Similar to that Outlook's delayed send.

  18. Forced log out happens randomly about every 24 hours and usually in the middle of a ticket update in the middle of the day - can we have some adjustment for this like forced log out after x minutes/hours idle but if active just remains logged in.

  19. Add the ability to extract all email addresses out of Atera or the ability to email all clients at once. Implement user controls such that the admin can determine who is able to perform this function.

  20. It would be great if Atera had some sort of notepad for keeping notes on various things. Maybe just a tab on the left side pane, or maybe per customer or device. This would be a great feature. So far, this is just about the only thing that our old RMM has over Atera. Please, bring us this feature!!! I've seen places for notes, but they are very deep within too many menus.
