filter for mobile
The mobile app needs to be able to filter on dates as there is no way of filtering to see for example todays arrival tickets, the app and also the online should allow you to specify date ranges and days, idea would to have a pop up calendar so the we are able to choose the dates we would like , there should be a default filter on the mobile app for todays arrival tickets

However, we have encountered some limitations in the mobile app functionality that have been impeding the efficiency and productivity of our technicians. I would like to provide feedback on two major flaws that we believe need urgent attention and improvement:
Task Scheduling Limitation:
Our field technicians heavily rely on the mobile application for task management while they are on the field. However, it appears that the mobile app does not permit technicians to schedule tasks directly from Atera, forcing them to use a laptop for this basic yet crucial operation. This limitation hinders the flexibility and real-time responsiveness of our field operations, making the scheduling process cumbersome and less efficient.Limited Access to Custom Ticket Statuses:
We often schedule our tickets to a later time, for which we have created a custom status named "Ticket is scheduled." Unfortunately, we have noticed that the mobile application only displays the standard ticket statuses such as Open, Pending, Resolved, Closed, and Deleted. This restriction prevents our field technicians from accessing and viewing tickets assigned to them with our custom status, thus creating a gap in task visibility and management.Suggested Improvements:
Enable task scheduling functionality directly from the mobile app, allowing our field technicians to manage their schedules more efficiently without needing a laptop.
Enhance the mobile app to support and display custom ticket statuses, ensuring that technicians have full visibility of their assigned tasks, including those with non-standard statuses.
We believe that these improvements are essential for the seamless operation of our field services and will greatly enhance the user experience and productivity of our technicians. We would greatly appreciate it if these issues could be addressed promptly in the upcoming app update.

Ability to Disable IPV6 from Network Discovery
There are some clients where I cannot change or disable IPV6. This has broke Network Scanning. I need Network Discovery to have an option to "Use IPV4" only.

IAM Solution
Would be great if Atera was able to setup a LDAP server that we can configure windows/mac devices to connect to for OS authentication.
Something like setting up an OpenLDAP server and using pGina to enable authentication for operating systems. This would eliminate the need for folks like myself having to worry about a AD solution just to manage user accounts for all my clients. That way we can have a global repository for every client and configure permissions accordingly.

Software Inventory to show End of Life software
As other asset managers do, such as Qualys, it is often necessary to find and remove End of Life software from devices. It would be a very nice feature if Atera was able to show End of Life dates for known software, frameworks and plugins in the Software Inventory.

IT automation via Heartbeat Schedule
I would like to see a selection of "when device becomes online/available" added to the schedule on the IT automation page. There are many times when an oddball device is powered on for a few hours and it isn't powered on during the automation schedule window. There may be another way around this, but running the IT automation task when the device comes online would be a great feature to have.

A way to restrict access to knowledge base items (IE a general user Knowledge Base and an IT\Agent Knowledge Base)
A way to restrict access to knowledge base items. For example, a general\all user Knowledge Base AND a Technicians-Only Knowledge Base.
This would allow technicians to 'inform' other technicians of their additions\automations\scripts etc.

Ticket time blocks
Add a feature/option where we can set a mandatory minimum amount for something like on-site support. For example, set it to where each ticket gets billed at one hour minimum, then at 15-minute increments thereafter. Quite a few MSP's, and other small shops have a mandatory minimum of an hour per ticket in their contracts, even if it takes them 20 minutes to fix an issue. That way, they can have more standardized billing practices.

Idle on Main Device screen
Having a field on the main screen for a device where it shows whether the device is idle, versus having to click through a couple dropdown menus before getting to the info. It would help to be able to see, at a glance, whether the device is indeed idle before connecting up. This avoids connecting when it's in use, which disrupts the client's work most times when in use.
Several other RMM's have this already, which is convenient.

We need details on all aspects of invoicing. ( work from home - ie... Total 10 clients with 50 devices of which 4 devices have work from home... how do we figure this out without clicking client at a time to check? ) ( acronis - ie... Total 10 clients with 50 devices - which client is using so much data and how much are they being biiled? ) ( bit defender - ie... Total 10 clients with 50 devices - which have cloud security and which not and how much is each client being billed? ) Im sure this goes on for the remaining of the products offered. We need details!!!!

The limit on only 5 software installs an hour from Chocolatey package manager is terrible, I often want to install software across a whole lab of computers. With that limit it makes the software deployment tools almost completely useless. There should not be a limit on that at all.

External backup to 3rd party - IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!
Found out today that there is no backup or way to backup from atera.
We need to be able to backup our data away from Atera, I really just wanted to backup the passwords and attachments from a company before we hand over to the new support company but then I found out all the ways Atera's not backing up its own system in case of issues or mistake and I'm honestly horrified!
I need a way to backup the data held by Atera, Can't be reliant on hope and a prayer..
TBH i'm going to check this with one of the other teams as I cannot believe this is the case.
but if its true we will be using a new platform by the end of the year if not much sooner.

Dashboard view to show what computers have a healthy or unhealthy bitdefender install
A quick dashboard for visually seeing unhealthy bitdefender agents. If a customer uses bitdefender all assets should have bitdefender, so a way to see if any one agent doesn't have it installed or has issues would be great.
