Please allow technicians to edit Internal Notes, but keep full version history for accountability. Each edit should: > - Store the previous version. > - Show who edited it and when. > - Allow users to view or toggle between versions, and ideally highlight changes. > This keeps the audit trail intact while letting us correct typos, update details, and keep tickets clean and readable.

So much junk in our tickets because you won't let us remove it. PLEASE GIVE US THE RIGHT TO EDIT OUR TICKETS.

Please, make this a thing... Now I'm busy with a long checklist who has responded to the ticket. and I want to mark green what is resolved. I have to copy and paste the whole internal note, again and again and again :(

How can there not be an edit option on an internal note? This is basic, at minimum give the option with permissions to adjust this based on the technician role/admin functionality.

i didnt even consider that this wasnt an option until i just went to delete an internal comment that posted twice. I cant believe how much basic functionality Atera has missed on their ticketing system. Its almost like they made it without talking to anyone who has ever used one.

I make mistakes in internal notes occasionally or information changes and there is no way to delete my own notes. Then I look like an idiot :)
I do not believe we should be able to remove others notes though -

I highly recommend for this option. This post was created in April 2024 and still no change. Even Deleting like Sergey Permin mentioned would be nice. There are other ticketing software that provide an edit option or delete which is basic but not on Atera, not sure why its so hard to get.

Any updates regarding this? It would be really nice to be able to edit at least internal notes.

If you could please provide us with the option to remove and edit comments in our tickets. As of now, if we put a comment in the wrong ticket, or if we make typos or errors in our comments, we cannot correct them as the comments seem to be there to stay permanently.

..or delete one altogether would also be nice.

Do not give the option to the end user can continue to enter information in the text field, if the ticket is marked as closed.

This really hasn't been implemented after nearly 3 years from the initial suggestion? It's a simple edit feature that has been commonplace since the early 2000's and is present in every single ticketing competitor on the market... the fact that we even have to vote on this is laughable. Big red flag for Atera, certainly second guessing this software now.

I really wish we had the ability to edit an internal note. In the event of an error, it would be nice to be able to hit an edit button and change an internal note.

Ability to edit either Public or Internal. Often times I have hit send and realize I have a glaring typo. I would like to be able to quickly fix the typo.

I understand not being able to edit an external reply after sending it because it's an email that's been sent to a client, but I'd really like to be able to edit an internal note after it's been posted in case more information has come to light and I don't want to bury my previous internal note.
A footer on the internal note saying that it was edited and the date and time would be good too.

I would like to add my support for this as well. Coming from ConnectWise, we edit almost every note that gets put through the system.
