  3. I have restaurants as customes and they use servers to run POS enviroment. they need access to it to run reports, clock employees in and out, maintenance etc.. just like a workstation. WFH should work on server OS. please update it so it does. thank you

  4. needing to add multiple contacts for a single ticket rather than having to create separate ticket for each contact. when we have a ticket come in that affects multiple people, we like to avoid having duplicate tickets for the same exact issue which can cause multiple technicians to work on the same issue. old ticketing system had an option for "watch list" which allowed us to enter email addresses (internal or external) so they would all receive the updates from a single ticket. i am aware of the "cc" field but can be difficult to remember to add these email…

  5. Recurring item billing

    Our current helpdesk allows us to log/schedule recurring items (Microsoft 365 licenses, domain name renewals, backup plans, etc) either monthly or annually and bill monthly via quickbooks online sync.

  6. Add Products Module to the Internal IT Department Model

    Currently as an "Internal IT Department" we will never bill our other individual company departments. With that said, it would be nice to track inventory of either products we have in stock and/or what we are ordering for other groups and tie dollar amounts to those. This will help IT departments in general as it gives us insight into keeping stock via trends, record other departments IT spending as-well-as keep consistent on ordering special requests.

  7. We use TeamViewer as a support tool.
    It would be nice to have the same operation as the Splashtop module.
    What do you mean?
    If the client machine does not have the software to install then it installs it silently.

  9. 2FA : it should remember my settings. Right now, there are 8 clicks to log in. I just want to put in the passwords and 2FA, not biometric. Would be nice for it to remember how we want to log in. Too many clicks. It keeps showing me all the options every single time

  10. It's important to know what the team are working on, whether billable or non-billable. At the moment it seems that reporting is only on time entries marked as billable. Please make non-billable time entries something that can be reported on as well.

  11. One of the most important features of any RMM solution is the monitoring of hardware. Specifically, temperature of the motherboard, CPU and DISK. Atera has that capability right now and thresholds are fully customizable. But different hardware has different thresholds.

    Within the Intel lineup, there are different thresholds for the i3, i5 and i7. And even within the same processor family, there are different thresholds for different generations.

    Having one conservative threshold generates a lot of false alerts. And going the other way is risky. Creating different thresholds for different processor types and generations becomes a management nightmare giving that…

  12. Not all technicians should have the same privileges per customer, folder, or machine.

    We need the ability to limit level 1 or outsourced technicians from running scripts, accessing a remote command prompt or PowerShell.

    Currently, all technicians have SYSTEM account access to all endpoints.

    This is a major security concern!

    Currently, any technician can reset or create admin credentials.

    This includes Active Directory domain controllers.

    Entering the following commands from a remote command prompt will grant all technicians domain admin rights.

    net user administrator /active:yes
    net user administrator $NewPassword$

  13. In ticket automation, under actions, there should be option to add time spent on that ticket. As for example we receive 50 emails daily with same title from tool we use, they all have same title so we can use automation rules, but we also need to add time spent on doing this and adding time under "actions" would save us 30 minutes every day.

  14. Separation of internal Notes and Communication with a customer: would be nice to have it for example, in a box on the bottom right. The colors are helpful but when you put in the notes, after 1-2 replies, it throws to the bottom and now you have to expend. Would be easier to see it like this in a separate box

  17. It would be great to have an option to add new customers and the devices under it to existing automation profile. For example, we have an automation profile to enable permission based remote access for Splashtop and every time we have a new customer, we have to manually add the customer to the existing automation profile to ensure that the remote access is not unattended and requests for permission even for all new devices.

  18. I know this has been requested a number of times, and in my last meeting with Atera they asked what they wanted from O365 Integrations.

  20. On the time entry screen, it would be helpful to have the option to deduct time from a time entry. When technicians are working on a single ticket all day (like an onboarding or on-site issue), they need to be able to deduct their 30 minute lunch or time that they worked on another ticket while still accurately marking the time that they started and stopped that day. So if a technician is on-site from 8:30AM-5PM and took a 30 minute lunch and had a 20 minute phone call for another ticket, they could mark their time entry as 8:30AM-5PM,…
