Multiple email addresses for a single user
Having a single email address for a user account leads to fragmentation of the helpdesk ticketing system. For example, a person working from home may not have access to their work email (associated to a user account in Atera), and may need to create a helpdesk ticket using their personal email. The fragmentation of the ticketing system happens where their user account associated with their work email will not have the tickets that come in with their personal email. The user will also need to manage two accounts in Atera, one for their work email and one for their personal email.

MS Defender Report
I'd like to create a report that shows the results of the last MS Defender scan. I can do it for an individual pc by running Get-MpComputerStatus in Powershell, but it doesn't look very good and I have to do it for each individual pc. Being able to run a report for every monitored pc in each clients office would be nice.

Patch schedule calendar integration to be able to exclude dates from patching. Some companies have blackout dates where no changes are allowed. Also be nice to see the actual schedule of patching in a calendar form.

Ticket Automation Rules - "ticket created" email - stop email loops
The current "Ticket Created email" automation rule works well most of the time. However, when we need to get a third-party support company involved, they often have an equivalent system that sends an automatic "Ticket Created" email, that creates a new Atera ticket, and sends back a "Ticket Created" email, ad infinitum. In our case we had 18 new tickets created in the seven minutes until we noticed the loop. If someone had not been looking at the Unattended queue, it could have been many more.
My idea is for Atera to be able to identify a "Ticket Created email" loop, and add the new incoming "Ticket Created" email from the third-party system to an already created ticket, and NOT send a Ticket Created email.
A possible way of identifying this loop is multiple emails in a short period from a particular email address, with a subject that is the same, except for an increasing number (ie their ticket number)Note: this is specifically for occasions where we have not previously dealt with that third-party support company. Obviously once we have dealt with a third-party support company, we then know that that particular company sends out "Ticket Created" emails, and we can add their email address to the "Ticket Created email" automation rule as an exception.

Splashtop appears to support headless displays, but not the version within Atera. Request to upgrade Splashtop within Atera to support Headless displays as that trend continues to grow.

On devices page have a relationship (contact) column and customer column to show who the device belongs to.
On the devices list, show a column for what contact and customer that devices belongs to.
The relationship field is important and this uses the contact details for who this device belongs to, some devices are being logged into as a generic username or maybe being logged into using old details, therefore for the username field can be unreliable.

Include purchase date in export for Products and Expenses
Include the purchase date for Products and Expenses, which is already required and collected, in the CSV and other export options. The current behavior seems to be to groups all Products and Expenses at the end of an invoice without showing the collected purchase date, making it impossible to associate correctly with one or more tickets on the same invoice above. Including the purchase date would clarify the invoice and avoid manual work to type the same date already collected by the system into other fields to provide a reference.

Widget for Disk Capacity
We would like a widget in the dashboard for disk capacity alerts. as this is one of the biggest reasons why we took Atera. Unfortunately we cant monitor this properly now.

GitHub Integration
Would be great if Atera could actively pull source code from GitHub. Right now I save all my current automation scripts into GitHub and have to manually open the script and copy the contents to update the scripts in Atera.
Would really streamline the whole process if Atera would can connect to our GitHub repo's to and it update the scripts in Atera doing a fresh pull or maybe doing a nightly pull based on a schedule job you can configure.

Product Qty on Hand and Serial numbers
For products and services add a few more fields to product settings:
a) Qty on hand
b) Serial numbers
This way if a tech creates a ticket and adds outgoing hardware like a laptop they can choose the model from the product list and choose which serial they are pulling from inventory. If there isn't enough qty they wont be able to add the product. Admin can replenish the qty on hand as they order product.2 votes -

Network Monitoring
I'm currently trialing Atera, and loving the platform so far - the only thing I'd suggest with network/monitoring and alerts is having the option to select numerous agents as the network monitor - for example with SNMP or generic, reason for this is, if your monitoring agent is offline; I've noticed with generic it doesn't show that your devices that are being monitored by the agent as offline. Perhaps have a round-robin method of monitoring, thus if a monitoring agent is offline but another is online it'll still monitor your network devices - but also, with that being said if a monitoring agent is offline if it's being used to monitor SNMP / generic, that should automatically see those devices as offline as well and alert you.

Userfriendly Names for all kinds of Alerts
we had to switch to script-based queries for Windows Event logs because Atera does not allow custom labeling for alerts in the alert dashboard. The events are signaled with an Atera-specific label and the corresponding event ID. Since we operate the alarm dashboard on a wall-mounted TV for quick responses, it is not helpful to only see "just an event ID". As a custom name for alerts is possible for scripts but not for event log queries, we suspect that your development team may have simply overlooked this. Having custom names for the alert dashboard for all queries would certainly be beneficial for all of your customers
