Time Entry easier display
It would be interesting to be able to see the description of the time entry on a ticket in an easy way.
However, we are obliged to click on "Actions" then "time entry" then click on modify to read the content.
Hey all,
I am happy to let you know we've improved the accessabilty to the time entry notes in the new ticket UI and save you clicks.
In the new UI, time entries that have notes attached to them can be viewed directly from the time entries list upon hovering on the note icon.
I've attached a screenshot for your convenience.
Down the line, we will consider adding the time entries and their notes to the feed of the ticket for even easier view.
Hope you enjoy this new improvement!

The time entry list is absolutely ineffective. Every entry ist 3 rows high, because auf the duration column.
But only the duration column needs three rows.
So why you dont put technican, rate and billable at the first column, duration at the second and 3 rows of the time entry description at the third row (with complete text at hovering over= -

You should also consider including the billable / non-billable time summary in your Ai ticket summary window, so at a management level, I get a quick overview of the ticket and how much time has been spent on it

We can't move form our other time tracking package at this point without a few improvements such as this one Re time tracking for tickets.
Can someone using tracking time exclusively using tickets advise how is it working for you?

Is there any update on whether this is going to be implemented?
we are having to duplicate work by adding an internal note with the details to prevent the need of having to click in each time entry to see what's been going on. However, this makes the ticket unnecessarily messy

I concur. I actually just asked support chat about this and they sent me here.
Having to go into time entries, and then click on 'edit' each time entry just to see the description of what the ticket is about is a huge time waster.
I hope this gets added soon.
Thanks

Time entries to be on show on the ticket itself, so we dont need to click on Actions > Time entries

Show the Description of a time entry in the "Time Entries" Table of the ticket. So i don't have to click on each time entry to see which is which.

Ideally in a time entry you describe what you did and how long it took.
So it is very, very important part of a ticket. In Datto for instance every ticket entry / reply is also a timesheet entry.
And thats completely logical.Time entries are essential part of a ticket and clients should be able to view them in the customer portal

Very important feature.
Customers should be able to read the time entries in the ticket. The time entries are showing the actual work which is done.

This would be more highly anticipated than "Scan agentless networks with Network Discovery"...

Yes, seems like this info should be front and center on a ticket without drilling down.

Started using Atera this week and was very surprised to find this wasn't the case already.
Really would expect all ticket activity to be in the main feed.
At the moment it's very hard to see work carried out at a glance as have to enter the ticket, go to time entries, and then check each individual entry!
It just feels very clunky and time consuming compared to most other ticketing systems I've used. -

This needs to happen. It's currently a pain to go back and look through previous entries to see what has been done.

Yes this would be a great feature and save a lot of time when working on tickets

Include all 'Time Entry' entries in the main body of a ticket in chronological order along with both 'Public Reply' and 'Internal note' entries, so it is possible to see in one list everything action committed on the ticket. Thanks
